Naughty By Nature rapper Treach was arrested in New Jersey on Friday (11Apr14) on a charge of eluding police. The hip-hop star, real name Anthony Criss, allegedly failed to stop for police when signalled to in Union City and raced off at high speed before he was detained by officers.
Hours later, he appeared in Central Judicial Processing court in Jersey City, where his bail was set at $15,000 (£9,375).
However, the 43-year-old rapper was also found to have fallen behind on child support and was ordered to settle that debt in Passaic County before he could be released.
Details about the child support order have not been revealed, but Treach is only known to have one child, a 15-year-old daughter named Egypt, with Salt-n-Pepa star Sandra Denton, who he divorced in 2001.
Treach's lawyer, Darryl Smith, has declined to comment on the arrest.
Celebrity blogger Perez Hilton and rapper Biz Markie have joined the cast of the Sharknado sequel. Sharknado 2: The Second One will debut in America on 31 July (14), just over a year after the original movie aired and became an instant hit.
Salt-N-Pepa star Sandra Denton has also joined the cast alongside professional wrestler Kurt Angle. They will play a former New York City mayor and a New York fire chief, respectively.
Ian Ziering and Tara Reid will reprise their roles as Fin and April, while new cast members include Kelly Osbourne, Vivica A. Fox, Mark McGrath and Andy Dick.
The supermodel glued hundreds of crystals to her face and donned an elaborate gold headpiece and cleavage-baring dress to transform into Egyptian queen Cleopatra for the bash.
The event, which was also attended by hip-hop mogul Russell Simmons and Sandra 'Pepa' Denton of Salt-N-Pepa, was due to be held in the Big Apple on 31 October (12), but Klum called off the party in the days after superstorm Sandy hit America's East Coast because she "didn't think it was right to dress up" after the disaster.
The German beauty turned the party into a benefit for the Red Cross' Sandy relief effort, with tickets being sold off on auction website eBay.com to boost funds.
Former model Janice Dickinson almost quit reality TV show The Surreal Life
just hours after walking through the door of the Los Angeles celebrity mansion
after taking offence to actor and housemate Bronson Pinchot's amorous
The bitchy socialite and author, who once dated Sylvester Stallone and Jack Nicholson, turned into a drama queen on the show's debut, which aired on July 10 after Pinchot started hugging her.
After telling the actor, "You can't grope me like that," Dickinson burst into
tears as Pinchot insisted he was just being friendly, adding, "You've got to
stop or I'm gonna leave. I quit. I gotta go."
Dickinson was then caught phoning a pal in New York, begging him to pick her
up. The diva was then persuaded to stay by rap star Sandra 'Pepa' Denton--another housemate.
The former model later explained her actions: "I don't like men uninvitedly
(sic) putting their hands on me and mauling, molesting or groping and I asked
him, 'Please don't touch me.'
"Bronson's creepy. It really rubbed me the wrong way... I'd rather sleep with
a homeless guy." But the actor insisted that he felt an instant attraction to Dickinson.
He said, "I believed in my heart Janice and I will hook up somehow. I liked
her hoarse voice and I liked her tough-ass thing. I think the sex would be
amazing...I never groped her."
Dickinson's 12 days in the Surreal Life house with Pinchot, Pepa, baseball
star Jose Conseco, reality TV queen Omarosa, model Caprice and motocross star
Carey Hart was filmed and will run on TV throughout the summer.
