Actress Charlize Theron has fuelled rumours she is preparing to wed boyfriend Sean Penn after she was photographed wearing a new sparkler on her ring finger on Wednesday (23Jul14). The Monster star, who is mum to adopted son Jackson, began dating her longtime friend Penn late last year (13) and recent reports suggest the highly-private couple is planning to take its relationship to the next level by walking down the aisle.
Sources tell UsMagazine.com Theron and her new man are set to exchange vows in her native South Africa later this summer (14), and now new pictures of the actress arriving at Los Angeles International Airport have given weight to the claims.
In the snaps, the 38-year-old beauty, who is wearing minimal make-up and jewellery, flashes what appears to be a diamond engagement band on her left ring finger.
A representative for Penn has declined to issue a statement on the report, while a spokesperson for Theron has yet to respond to WENN's request for a comment.
If the rumours are true, it will be Theron's first wedding, while 53-year-old Penn was previously married to Madonna and newly-engaged actress Robin Wright.
Proving that there’s nothing Hollywood won’t reboot if given then chance, a new Scooby Doo movie is reportedly in the works at Warner Bros. According to Variety, the studio is looking to send Scooby, Shaggy, and the gang on another spooky adventure, which will be written by Randall Green. The news comes just a year after Warner Bros. also announced plans for an animated Scooby Doo movie, which is reportedly still on track. Though the last live-action Mystery Gang outings, 2002’s Scooby Doo and its sequel Monsters Unleashed, did well commercially, they weren’t received well by critics and fans of the series, which is why it’s surprising that Warner Bros. would be so intent at taking a third shot at big-screen adventure. After all, the live-action Scooby Doo’s were only slightly better than Yogi Bear. There are plenty of other great classic Hanna-Barbera properties that would make for great films, so why does Scooby get a third shot at big screen success? Think about all of the possibilities that are open…

You're welcome, Hollywood.
Sean Penn's model daughter Dylan has bared all in a nude shoot for erotic photography magazine, Treats. The 22-year-old daughter of the Oscar winner and ex-wife Robin Wright is showing off her assets on the cover of the publication, which features her leaning against a wall, cupping her breasts, with only a Fendi purse to cover the lower half of her body.
In an interview with the magazine, Penn lauds photographer Tony Duran for his tasteful work, and admits the shoot proved to be more difficult than she thought.
She explains, "I knew his photography from before I was asked to shoot and really admired him as an artist. I have always loved his black and white nudes, they were always so tastefully done and, more specifically, showed that certain elegant yet strong beauty that I think all women embody.
"That was definitely an experience I will never forget. I never would have guessed getting naked - using a Fendi purse to cover my vagina - would be so challenging!"
Other pictures from the publication show Penn wearing nothing but a dangling oversized necklace hanging down past her thighs, and one in which she dons a black mesh top with nothing underneath.
In March (14), rumours surfaced that editors at Playboy magazine had offered Penn $150,000 (£93,750) to pose for the cover, but she eventually rejected the deal.
Sean Penn and Robin Wright's daughter Dylan is to making her acting debut in horror film Condemned. Dylan Penn, who also has a budding career as a model, will play the lead role in the movie about a group of teenagers who go on a murder spree after the filthy conditions in their New York apartment cause an infection and make them go crazy.
Professional skateboarder-turned-clothing designer Eli Morgan Gesner has written the script and will direct the movie, which is slated to begin filming in New York in April (14).
For the bulk of every Rocky and Bullwinkle episode, moose and squirrel would engage in high concept escapades that satirized geopolitics, contemporary cinema, and the very fabrics of the human condition. With all of that to work with, there's no excuse for why the pair and their Soviet nemeses haven't gotten a decent movie adaptation. But the ingenious Mr. Peabody and his faithful boy Sherman are another story, intercut between Rocky and Bullwinkle segments to teach kids brief history lessons and toss in a nearly lethal dose of puns. Their stories and relationship were much simpler, which means that bringing their shtick to the big screen would entail a lot more invention — always risky when you're dealing with precious material.
For the most part, Mr. Peabody & Sherman handles the regeneration of its heroes aptly, allowing for emotionally substance in their unique father-son relationship and all the difficulties inherent therein. The story is no subtle metaphor for the difficulties surrounding gay adoption, with society decreeing that a dog, no matter how hyper-intelligent, cannot be a suitable father. The central plot has Peabody hosting a party for a disapproving child services agent and the parents of a young girl with whom 7-year-old Sherman had a schoolyard spat, all in order to prove himself a suitable dad. Of course, the WABAC comes into play when the tots take it for a spin, forcing Peabody to rush to their rescue.
Getting down to personals, we also see the left brain-heavy Peabody struggle with being father Sherman deserves. The bulk of the emotional marks are hit as we learn just how much Peabody cares for Sherman, and just how hard it has been to accept that his only family is growing up and changing.
But more successful than the new is the film's handling of the old — the material that Peabody and Sherman purists will adore. They travel back in time via the WABAC Machine to Ancient Egypt, the Renaissance, and the Trojan War, and 18th Century France, explaining the cultural backdrop and historical significance of the settings and characters they happen upon, all with that irreverent (but no longer racist) flare that the old cartoons enjoyed. And oh... the puns.
Mr. Peabody & Sherman is a f**king treasure trove of some of the most amazingly bad puns in recent cinema. This effort alone will leave you in awe.
The film does unravel in its final act, bringing the science-fiction of time travel a little too close to the forefront and dropping the ball on a good deal of its emotional groundwork. What seemed to be substantial building blocks do not pay off in the way we might, as scholars of animated family cinema, have anticipated, leaving the movie with an unfinished feeling.
But all in all, it's a bright, compassionate, reasonably educational, and occasionally funny if not altogether worthy tribute to an old favorite. And since we don't have our own WABAC machine to return to a time of regularly scheduled Peabody and Sherman cartoons, this will do okay for now.
If nothing else, it's worth your time for the puns.

"Divorce in and of itself, and with children, is devastating. Worse than that... One of the reasons why we got back together and broke up so much was trying to keep the family together. If you've got kids, it's a family, and you try again, and you try again. We did that for a long time." Actress Robin Wright on her numerous break-ups and reunions with ex-husband Sean Penn. The couple divorced in 2010 after 14 years of marriage. She has since become engaged to actor Ben Foster.
Sean Penn's model daughter Dylan has reportedly split from The Vampire Diaries star Steven R. Mcqueen after a short-lived romance. Dylan Penn was first linked to the 25-year-old actor, the grandson of movie legend Steve McQueen, last November (13), and the couple made the relationship official by attending a Hollywood charity gala hosted by her father in January (14).
However, Penn and McQueen have since called it quits, with a source telling Eonline.com, "I think it just fizzled (out)."
The blonde beauty, whose mother is Robin Wright, was previously rumoured to have dated Robert Pattinson.
Robin Wright and her new fiance Ben Foster have sealed their love with matching tattoos. The actress, who divorced Sean Penn in 2010, became engaged to Foster in late 2013 after two years of dating.
Wright has now revealed she has had the letter 'B' inked on her wedding finger, and her partner has a matching 'R'.
She tells Britain's Daily Telegraph, "Ben has an 'R' tattoo in the same place. I've been so anti-tattoos my whole life. But doing this felt right because we're not that traditional."
The House of Cards star admits Foster's proposal was "such a shock", but insists the step forward seems natural, adding, "We felt married anyway. We've been together ever since the first date... Ben and I have a connection between us that just feels right. I don't know any other word for it."
However, Wright admits her first date with her now fiance was terrifying: "I'd never, ever been asked out on a date before. Never. I was frickin' married my whole life, and even before that I hadn't been asked out."
The union with Foster will mark Wright's third marriage - she was previously wed to another actor, Dane Witherspoon, in the 1980s before Penn.
"I am much happier. I feel content and calm. I am in a good place in my life. It took a while to get there, but I feel I have arrived." Newly-engaged actress Robin Wright on her new-found happiness following her divorce from ex-husband Sean Penn.
Sean Penn and Robin Wright's daughter, Dylan Penn, has sparked rumours she is dating The Vampire Diaries star Steven R. Mcqueen after they were spotted together at a Hollywood event on Saturday (11Jan14). Penn, who has been previously linked with Twilight star Robert Pattinson, and McQueen posed for photographs at her father's charity gala in California and sources tell Us Weekly magazine they even shared a kiss.
A source now tells the magazine, "They met awhile back, they started dating pretty quickly, lots of attraction there. Dylan is a fun chick, whatever she had with Pattinson was very brief if at all."
And Dylan's rumoured boyfriend met her dad before the event, which was also attended by the Oscar winner's reported new love Charlize Theron.
There's a lot of love about in the Penn household in 2014 - Dylan's mum Robin Wright recently became engaged to actor Ben Foster.
