Actor Lance Gross is preparing to be a first-time father. The House of Payne star's girlfriend of three years, Rebecca Jefferson, is pregnant.
Gross announced the news with a revealing photo of the mum-to-be, in which she is completely naked and sitting on a beach, proudly showing off a side view of her growing baby bump, on his Instagram.com page on Wednesday (16Jul14).
Gross gushed over his stylist girlfriend in the accompanying caption, which reads, "God has gifted me. It's like I get to unwrap you daily. Your presence continues to bring me joy each time without exhaustion. I AM IN LOVE WITH YOU."
Gross was previously engaged to model Eva Marcille but broke off the engagement in 2010.
Model/actress Eva Marcille has been temporarily granted full custody of her baby daughter in a new legal battle with her on/off boyfriend Kevin Mccall. The former America's Next Top Model star obtained a restraining order against the aspiring rapper in March (14), accusing McCall of kicking in doors at their home during a heated argument, and attempting to snatch their baby girl, Marley Rae, from her arms.
The pair appeared to have patched up its differences in early April (14) when Marcille shared photos of the couple ignoring the protective ban and cuddling up to Marley on her Instagram.com page.
But it seems Marcille and McCall have since fallen out once again and now the new dad has had his visitation rights revoked until a hearing in May (14).
A spokesperson for Marcille tells TMZ.com, "It is unfortunate that life has thrown a curve into Eva's life but as a responsible parent and adult she's taking steps to ensure the safety and well-being of their child and herself."
The on/off couple became parents to little Marley on 31 January (14).
Model-turned-actress Eva Marcille appears to have reconciled with her rapper boyfriend Kevin Mccall, days after obtaining a restraining order against her baby's father. The former America's Next Top Model winner and The Young and the Restless star filed papers in a U.S. court late last month (Mar14), accusing McCall of kicking in doors at their home during a heated argument and attempting to snatch their two-month-old daughter Marley Rae from her arms, reports TMZ.com.
She was granted the temporary protection order on 28 March (14), when a judge ordered McCall to stay at least 100 yards (91.44 metres) away from Marcille.
But it seems the couple is back on good terms and is paying no mind to the ruling - Marcille shared photos of the pair cuddling with baby Marley on her Instagram.com blog on Friday (04Apr14), alongside the simple caption, "#familyfirst".
Neither Marcille nor McCall have commented on the restraining order.
Model Eva Marcille has become a first-time mum. The former America's Next Top Model winner and her songwriter boyfriend Kevin McCall welcomed baby girl Marley Rae McCall on Friday (31Jan14).
McCall took to Instagram.com to post a photo of Marcille moments after becoming a mother.
He wrote, "Wow she has her mothers eyes. Never knew I could fall in love again. #prouddad. I've never known a love like this."
When Marcille announced the exciting news she was pregnant last August (13), she gushed over becoming a parent for the first time, and said, "Being able to bring a life into the world is every woman's dream but for me it's more than just a dream it is a magical, mystical journey which I get to share with this amazing man. Kevin is the only man who I would share this moment in life with."
Model Eva Marcille is set to become a first-time mum - she is pregnant with songwriter boyfriend Kevin Mccall's baby. The one-time America's Next Top Model winner has confirmed her baby news to BET, insisting she's thrilled to give life to her partner's child.
The 28 year old says, "Being able to bring a life into the world is every woman’s dream but for me it's more than just a dream, it is a magical, mystical journey which I get to share with this amazing man. Kevin is the only man who I would share this moment in life with."
Marcille is five months pregnant.
The former America's Next Top Model winner announced plans to wed the House of Payne TV star following a Christmas Day proposal in 2008, but the couple parted ways two years later.
Marcille has remained on good terms with Gross since their split, and she admits it wouldn't have worked any other way because they share so many mutual friends.
She tells America's Sister 2 Sister magazine, "I just ran into him at the Essence Festival and it was great. He came there (sic) with his girlfriend... But it was extremely cordial. We have a zillion friends in common, and we see each other in the business often, so it's always really cool when I see him."
The former The Young and The Restless star reveals her family has been hit hard by her 60-year-old dad's illness, which left him battling language impairment aphasia, but, while his recovery has been slow, he recently made a breakthrough in his speech struggles.
She tells America's Sister 2 Sister magazine, "He's getting better. My father had a stroke a year ago, and he's an extremely healthy guy, so the stroke hit us all by storm. It came out of nowhere. He had a massive stroke with full aphasia, and it impairs your speech and ability to communicate but not your intellect. So that's where my dad is now.
"The physical recovery has been amazing. He's mobile, but his ability to communicate isn't there. So just the other day I remember my mother and I just cried so many tears of joy because my father said my name for the first time in almost a year and a half... It's hard for him to get it (the words) out of his head. That's what aphasia is, so that's what we've been battling with."
