Police in Florida have made Justin Bieber's arrest video public - with a large black bar covering his manhood. The release comes after a judge ordered parts of the video to be edited out to protect the pop star's privacy.
The footage of Bieber giving a urine sample for a drug test after his DUI arrest in January (14) was released to the media on Thursday (06Mar14).
The clips feature the 20 year old providing a urine sample with his genitals blocked by a large black box.
In total, Miami Beach Police Department officials have nine discs packed with visuals of the Baby singer following his arrest in Miami Beach.
Bieber was charged with a DUI, resisting arrest and having an expired licence. He has pleaded not guilty. A status hearing is set for next week (beg10Mar14).
Pussy Riot stars Maria Alyokhina and Nadia Tolokonnikova have reportedly been attacked at a McDonald's restaurant in Nizhny Novgorod, Russia. According to The Guardian, the two punk activists had rubbish and paint poured over them by a group of men, who took offence at their anti-Russian protests.
Alyokhina and Tolokonnikova were jailed in 2012 after they were found guilty of hooliganism for staging a protest at a church in Moscow, and since their release in December (13), they have visited America, where they were toasted at an Amnesty International concert and on TV shows.
Following Thursday's (06Mar14) attack, Alyokhina claimed she suffered head injuries.
The punk activists have been involved in a host of incidents of late - they were detained in Sochi, where they were part of a protest at the Winter Olympics, and they were attacked with whips by Cossack militia.
Rapper Lil Boosie is a free man after he was released from prison on Wednesday night (05Mar14). The hip-hop star, real name Torrence Hatch, left the Louisiana State Penitentiary after nearly five years behind bars.
Angola State Penitentiary Warden Burl Cain confirmed to local news station WAFB that Hatch was released from custody and transferred to a nearby sheriff's department facility, where family members were waiting for his arrival.
Representatives from his label Atlantic Records have announced the 31 year old will speak at a media event in New Orleans on Monday (10Mar14).
The Baton Rouge native has been incarcerated since 2009 following a drug and gun possession conviction, but he was handed an additional eight-year sentence for attempting to smuggle codeine syrup into jail on three separate occasions.
Hatch went on to beat a first-degree murder charge in 2012 after he was found not guilty of hiring a hitman to kill a fellow rap rival.
His release date has changed a number of times over the past few months, after his brother and manager, Taquari Hatch, revealed the star would be out in August (14). The date was consequently moved up to 13 February (14) after he successfully completed a substance abuse course behind bars.
Hatch, who also obtained his high school diploma while behind bars last year (13), will remain on parole until 2018.

Jason Bateman's feature directorial debut Bad Words was a hit at the Toronto International Film Festival and opens wide in theaters on March 28. The man who brought us good son Michael Bluth took to Reddit yesterday to respond to fan questions about the new film, his banjo prowess, and hairless werewolves, plus a constant stream of Arrested Development quotes. Read on for highlights and check out all of Bateman's answers here.
On the tactile pleasures of Michael Cera's hair:"Curly, yet manageable. The hair on his head is pretty soft too."
On his biggest fear:"Bees." (Not beads)
On whether or not he was really playing the banjo in that Mumford & Sons video:"All lies, and I was surprised by how much those metal strings hurt my fat little fingers."
On his dream boyfriend, if he were gay:"I'd like to continue dating Will Arnett."
On lying about the status of the Arrested Development movie:"I know exactly the same as you do. Zip."
On if he's "that former child star that's now a nut-case fundamentalist":"Yes, and I'll see you in hell."
On feeling guilty for corrupting his young Bad Words costar, Rohan Chand:"No, I figured his parents were cool with it since they read the script and drove him to the audition. Plus we erased his memory with the Men in Black gun."
On returning to his werewolf roots on MTV's Teen Wolf:"Sure, only if I can play one with alopecia."
On being annoyingly meta:"This reminds me of my worst Halloween costume ever. I wore a hockey goalie mask and a fish net with lures attached to it over my shoulders and went as Jason Bateman. What an a-hole."
A man convicted of causing the death of Usher's former stepson has been ordered to serve four years behind bars. Jeffrey Hubbard was accused of losing control of the jet ski which collided with and killed 11-year-old Kile Glover during a family vacation at Lake Lanier in Georgia on 6 July, 2012.
He was found guilty on charges of homicide with a vessel, reckless operation of a vessel, unlawful operation of a personal watercraft, boat traffic violation, and serious injury by vessel following a jury trial in Georgia last month (Feb14), and he was handed the prison term during sentencing on Wednesday (05Mar14).
Young Kile, whose mother is Usher's ex-wife Tameka Raymond, was left brain dead following the tragic accident and died on 21 July, 2012.
Ac/Dc star Phil Rudd has been cleared over allegations he lied about a previous drug conviction in order to obtain a helicopter pilot's licence. The drummer pleaded guilty to marijuana possession in New Zealand following a police raid on his boat in 2010, but the charge was later quashed by a judge and wiped from his record.
However, the legal battle was revived when he bought a new helicopter in 2012 and applied to renew his pilot's licence.
Executives at New Zealand's Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) alleged Rudd, 59, had failed to mention his drug conviction, and he was charged with falsely filling out the medical questionnaire for the licence by failing to mention his previous drug use.
However, the charge was dismissed when the case when to court on Tuesday (04Mar14). During the hearing at Tauranga District Court, Rudd admitted a separate charge of failing to maintain a logbook and was fined $710 (£444) plus costs, according to Sunlive.co.nz.
Real Housewives Of New Jersey stars Teresa and Joe Giudice have pleaded guilty to fraud in a Newark court. The married couple accepted charges including bankruptcy fraud, conspiracy to commit mail fraud and wire fraud, and failing to pay taxes.
Joe Giudice faces a potential sentence of 37 to 46 months and possible deportation, while his wife could serve up to 27 months behind bars.
The Giudices were accused of exaggerating their income while applying for loans before their Real Housewives show debuted in 2009, then hiding their fortunes in a bankruptcy filing.
A Florida judge has ordered prosecutors in Justin Bieber's DUI case to edit out images of the pop star's private parts from video footage filmed during his time behind bars. The Baby hitmaker spent several hours in jail on 23 January (14) after he was busted for DUI, resisting arrest without violence and driving with an expired licence following allegations he had been caught drag racing in Miami.
He was booked in a Miami Beach jail, where he was caught on camera struggling to complete a sobriety test, arguing with cops and being patted down by an officer.
Some of that video footage was recently released by authorities, but Bieber's lawyers appealed to a judge to prevent further images, in which the singer's genitals are exposed as he submits to a urine test, from being made public.
Miami-Dade County Judge William Altfield has since reviewed the surveillance tapes, and on Tuesday (04Mar14), he ruled two of five video clips had to be edited out of respect to the embattled 20 year old.
Judge Altfield told the court, "Mr. Bieber's right to privacy is paramount. He has not lost his right to privacy, and that is what is important here."
Bieber's lawyer, Roy Black, insists he's happy with the decision as the three other clips were taken at an angle and distance far enough away to protect his client's privacy. The star, who turned 20 on Saturday (01Mar14), has pleaded not guilty to the charges against him.
The judge's decision to review the CCTV stalled a proposed 3 March (14) start for Bieber's trial. The case will return to court for a status conference next week (begs10Mar14).
Comedian Chris Kattan has been ordered to attend alcohol anonymous (AA) meetings after pleading not guilty to DUI following his arrest last month (Feb14). The former Saturday Night Live star was arrested in the early hours of 10 February (14) after crashing his Mercedes into a parked car on a California freeway.
He appeared in court on Monday (03Mar14) to face a charge of driving under the influence of drugs, and the judge overseeing the case decided to send him to AA meetings twice a week as a condition for his bail - even though he was not thought to have consumed alcohol prior to his arrest, reports TMZ.com.
Kattan's police run-in occurred hours after he exhibited erratic behaviour on a flight to Los Angeles, where he had to be tended to by medics upon landing.
He recently blamed medication he was prescribed following back surgery for the in-flight drama, telling TMZ.com, "I was taking medication for my back, I had surgery, there's a big scar on my back... I'm fine."
