"Anybody who takes inappropriate pictures of themselves deserves exactly what they get... And it's unfortunate that we don't have Internet security right now or the laws in place to protect people from pirating that stuff." Kirsten Dunst is using humor to cope with the embarrassing Hollywood hacking scandal.
The Spider-Man actress was among the female stars targeted by a hacker who leaked hundreds of nude personal pictures of high-profile women including Jennifer Lawrence, Kate Upton and Teresa Palmer last month (14). After a number of snaps of Dunst emerged online, she posted a sarcastic tweet saying "Thank you iCloud" along with an emoticon of a slice of pizza and a pile of excrement, slamming Apple over their iCloud storage system.
Speaking to E! Online, Dunst now reveals she has been using comedy to help move on from the embarrassing leak, saying, "I try to have a sense of humour about a really unfortunate situation. The FBI is investigating, so they're handling it right now."
An Apple representative previously said of the case, "None of the cases we have investigated has resulted from any breach in any of Apple's systems including iCloud... We are continuing to work with law enforcement to help identify the criminals involved."
One Direction star Harry Styles turned heads at a Coldplay concert in Los Angeles on Wednesday night (17Sep14) when he arrived with actress Daniella Monet, prompting speculation the former Victorious star is the singer's new girlfriend. Chris Pine and Zoe Kravitz were also spotted together at the gig, as was Coldplay star Chris Martin's reported new girlfriend Jennifer Lawrence.
Actor Bill Cosby is set to loan officials at The Smithsonian his African-American art collection for a new exhibit. The impressive haul, which features works from artists including Beauford Delaney, Faith Ringgold and Jacob Lawrence, will be part of the Conversations: African and African-American Artworks in Dialogue exhibition, which will launch at The Smithsonian's National Museum of African Art in Washington, D.C. in November (14), as part of the prestigious venue's 50th anniversary.
A statement from Cosby reads: "It's so important to show art by African-American artists in this exhibition.
"To me, it's a way for people to see what exists and to give voice to many of these artists who were silenced for so long, some of whom will speak no more."
Museum director Johnnetta Betsch Cole adds, "The exhibition will encourage all of us to draw from the creativity that is Africa, to recognise the shared history that inextricably links Africa and the African diaspora and to seek the common threads that weave our stories together."

Actress Jennifer Lawrence and singer Chris Martin have reportedly taken their romance public by attending a dinner together in California on Thursday (11Sep14). The Hunger Games star and Martin were seen out with friends at the Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood, according to Eonline.com.
A source tells the website, "They seem very comfortable in each other's company - and happy!
"It doesn't seem like it's a new relationship. They seem super affectionate and at ease with each other."
The couple reportedly started dating this summer (14), after Martin separated from his wife Gwyneth Paltrow in March (14).
Lawrence split from Nicholas Hoult in August (14).
Jennifer Lawrence is putting the recent nude pictures scandal behind her by accepting a high-profile fashion job as co-chair of the 2015 Met Gala. The Hunger Games actress, who has dominated headlines in recent weeks after her saucy pictures were leaked online, has been announced as an honorary chairperson of the Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute Benefit in New York City.
Lawrence follows in the footsteps of 2013 co-chair Beyonce and fellow actress Sarah Jessica Parker, who helped organise this year's (14) event.
The high-profile fashion event takes place in the Big Apple on 4 May (15).
The doctor who performed Joan Rivers' final throat procedure at Yorkville Endoscopy in New York has been fired, according to news reports. The veteran star was undergoing a routine operation at the medical facility on 28 August (14) when she suffered a cardiac and respiratory arrest. She was taken to nearby Mount Sinai Hospital, where she died a week later, on 4 September (14).
Reports have surfaced the late comedienne stopped breathing after an unscheduled biopsy was performed, but bosses at the clinic have denied the story, stating, "a biopsy of the vocal cords" has never been performed at their facility.
On Friday (12Sep14), sources told editors at WABC Eyewitness News in New York that gastroenterologist Dr. Lawrence B. Cohen, who was the medical director at the facility, was no longer working there.
In a message on Twitter.com, editors write, "Medical director of Yorkville Endoscopy where Joan Rivers went to cardiac arrest is out... He is no longer performing procedures at the clinic."
A representative for Yorkville Endoscopy has confirmed the news, stating, "Dr. Cohen is not currently performing procedures at Yorkville Endoscopy, nor is he currently serving as medical director."

Josh Hutcherson has spoken out to defend his Hunger Games co-star Jennifer Lawrence after she was involved in a recent nude photo leak scandal.
Naked shots of the actress were part of a haul of celebrity nudes nabbed by an anonymous Internet hacker and offered to top media outlets. Lawrence's representative confirmed the pictures were for real and threatened legal action against the person or persons responsible for the privacy breach.
Now her Hunger Games co-star Hutcherson, who was involved in his own nude photo scandal last year (13), has offered up his thoughts about the leak, insisting "it's not fair". The actor tells ET Canada, "I haven't talked to her but I just think all that stuff is so ridiculous. We're people too, man, we just want to live, we want to be normal people, it's not fair. "It's something you obviously don't want to happen to you and it's really unfortunate that it happens... I hate the way the world sort of views those sorts of issues. It's really, truly not fair."
He adds, "We are actors, we didn't get into this because we wanted scandal. We want to live our lives and be actors... People say, 'Well you chose to be an actor, you are going to have to deal with this kind of thing...' Well no, I started (acting) when I was nine years old, she started when she was, like, 12. We didn't choose to have public scandal, we chose to become artists of acting and I love making movies; this is what I can do, this is what I am good at."
A controversial artist has decided against using the leaked nude images of stars including actress Jennifer Lawrence and model Kate Upton as part of a new exhibit due to a public uproar. XVALA courted controversy last week (begs01Sep14) by announcing plans to display the explicit images as part of his upcoming No Delete show at the Cory Allen Contemporary Art (CACA) gallery in St. Petersburg, Florida, but both XVALA and arthouse bosses have since had a change of heart after becoming aware of online petitions urging them not to include the hacked snaps in the show.
CACA's Cory Allen says, "It was inspiring to see people take action through a petition, signing their name and not just commenting on a thread.
XVALA adds, "It wasn't just about being 'hacked' images anymore, but now presented in the media as stolen property. People were identifying with Jennifer Lawrence's and Kate Upton's victimisation, much more than I had anticipated, which is powerfully persuasive."
The artist now plans to use his own nude shots for the October (14) exhibit.
Representatives for Lawrence and Upton called in authorities to deal with the breach of privacy and FBI agents are currently investigating the case.
