David Bowie's producer Tony Visconti has confirmed rumours the reclusive rock icon is planning to release another new album. Visconti, who worked on Bowie's 2013 shock comeback record The Next Day, has stated there will "definitely" be a new release from the star "soon".
He also suggested Bowie may even break his self-imposed live exile for a promotional concert.
The news comes after the Starman hitmaker issued a statement in July (14) which included the line, "More music soon".
Editors at CNN quote Visconti as saying, "There's gonna be another album, definitely... soon... I don't think he's gonna busk in the tube... on the (London) Underground. As far as a concert is concerned I have no idea. He clearly didn't promote The Next Day with a concert and whether he does for the next one I don't know and I couldn't predict that - it's up to him. It's whatever takes his fancy."
Rising R&B star August Alsina has reached out to fans from his hospital bed after waking up from a three-day coma following his concert collapse in New York on Monday night (15Sep14). The No Love singer lost consciousness midway through his performance and stumbled off stage and into the crowd.
He was admitted to a local medical centre, where Alsina's representative revealed he was being treated in an intensive care unit after suffering several seizures brought on by exhaustion and dehydration.
He has since regained consciousness and has wasted no time in assuring fans he is on the road to recovery via Instagram.com.
On Friday (19Sep14), Alsina shared a photo of himself in his hospital bed with his best friend by his side, and in the caption, he wrote, "This is a bit graphic but i wanted to share this w/ (with) every follower of mine. iWoke (sic) up out of a 3 day coma... &This guy @banggang_moneyteam right here never once left my side. What I'm tryna (sic) say is cherish the ones in life who cherish you & take good care of yourself. Your life can be gone in a split second'. I'm recovering well and thankyou (sic) for all of your prayers & concerns."
Alsina had to scrap a show in Cincinnati, Ohio on Tuesday (16Sep14) due to his hospitalisation. It is not yet known when he will be well enough to return to the stage, but U.S. dates scheduled until early October (14) are still live on his website.
Gospel star Donnie Mcclurkin is playing through the pain on tour after undergoing surgery on his vocal cords. The Didn't You Know singer went under the knife last month (Aug14) to remove pre-cancerous cells in his throat and he admits coming to terms with the operation was "tough" as he feared he would be unable to sing again.
The procedure left him with a raspy voice, but his doctors are confident he will make a full recovery and McClurkin has been praying his voice will grow stronger by the day as he performs for fans on the Festival of Praise tour across the U.S.
McClurkin admits he contemplated pulling out of the shows due to his vocal issues, but he is glad he didn't.
Speaking before the tour kicked off on Wednesday (17Sep14) in Houston, Texas, he told the Associated Press, "I've got a lot to live for, and I had to make myself realise that. As hard as it was, I had to pull myself out of it. I started praying more. And each time I tried to sing, it becomes a lot better. It's going to take a moment, but it won't be so problematic that I can't perform."
McClurkin isn't the only ailing body on the bill - Fred Hammond is still getting used to being back on his feet after undergoing surgery on both knees in January (14).
He said, "We're not 100 per cent, but trying to get better. But maybe people need to see that."
McClurkin added, "God uses imperfect and broken people. If we can go through our cycle and still produce, that means anybody can. This (tour) is predicated on our willingness."
The Festival of Praise trek also features fellow gospel stars Kirk Franklin and Yolanda Adams.
The true mark of a good romance movie is the cry factor. If you cry a little, then it was a good movie. If you cry a lot, then it was a great movie. These movies all made you sob, at least once, even if it was just for a minute (or the whole 3 hours...).

Romantic because: They're polar opposites, but obvious soulmates, even after years apart. Despite their differences and arguments, Noah and Allie fall in love with each other so deeply, nothing can change that, and they'd be anything for each other: "If you're a bird, I'm a bird."
The most romantic aspect to trigger the cry factor: The fact that Noah kept this notebook for Allie and read it to her every single day after developing Alzheimers, even on the days she didn't recognize him (most days).

Romanitc because: Jack and Rose fall for each other despite their very obvious differences in class and personality. It's a whirlwind romance, spanning less than a week in time, that eclipses the major point of the movie -- the boat sinking.
The most romantic aspect to trigger the cry factor: Jack giving up his life so that Rose can live, telling her to "Never let go."
Bonus: Seeing them reunited after Rose passes away in her 90's and they're young again. We're all still sobbing through the pain.
Sleepless In Seattle
Romantic because: You know why it's romantic - finding love again after losing someone. But what makes this movie sweet is the fact that Jonah cares so much about his father, he'd do anything to make sure he's happy again, which leads to a new relationship.
The most romantic aspect to trigger the cry factor: That meeting at the top of the Empire State Building (which is an awesome reference to a reunion between Cary Grant and Deborah Kerr in An Affair to Remember).
A Walk To Remember
Romantic because: What isn't lovable about the bad boy falling for the sweet, reserved Christian girl? Especially when she's told him not to fall in love with her. Landon changes for the better because of this relationship and becomes the adorable boyfriend who wants to fulfill his girlfriend's tame bucket list.
The most romantic aspect to trigger the cry factor: Jamie walking down the aisle at her and Landon's wedding, despite how sick she is. Then the blow to our hearts was delivered and we couldn't handle things.
Romantic because: Summer romance, parents who don't understand, an older boy...it's all appealing to the teenage girl who wants a relationship like that. Baby and Johnny's dancing also makes everyone's lives a littler steamier.
The most romantic aspect to trigger the cry factor: "Nobody puts baby in a corner."
When Harry Met Sally
Romantic because: Who doesn't want to wind up with their best friend? Okay, maybe not everyone, but it's kind of ideal if you've got a best friend who is of the sex you're attracted to.
The most romantic aspect: They actually wind up together. Friends can become lovers and it's not weird.
Romantic because: It shows that not every relationship is even closely alike and that even though it's a movie and going to have a happy ending as a romance, you don't have to mirror your relationship based off of someone else. You can have your own.
The most romantic aspect to trigger the cry factor: Andrew Lincoln's poster board scene (that he will never live down, no matter how many walkers he kills on The Walking Dead).
You've Got Mail
Romantic because: Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan. Just kidding (not really). It's a film that not only brought online dating to the forefront way before it's time, but it also highlights how big business effects personal stores, but that those people behind everything aren't all bad.
The most romantic aspect to trigger the cry factor: "I wanted it you be you." PASS THE TISSUES!
Romantic because: She might be a prositute, but the film nevers takes on a nature that would ever make you think she's immoral. It's also kind of hilarious, yet sweet, for the man to hire her as his escort to fall in love with her.
The most romantic aspect to trigger the cry factor: When he shows up at her apartment, instead of going to the airport, and he climbs the fire escape with a bouquet of roses clutched between his teeth.
P.S. I Love You
Romantic because: Holly finding out what Gerry has left for her after his passing, to help ease her pain. Even though we only see their relationship in snippets as she grieves, this movie beautifully portrays the love that Gerry had for his wife.
The most romantic aspect to trigger the cry factor: The whole movie? Yup, the whole freaking thing. If you weren't a wreck after this movie, you might need to get your soul checked out.

"I am a big no. I think the should stay with the union. It's 307 years old, it works incredibly well." Northern Irish actor Liam Neeson revealed he was against Scottish independence during an appearance on U.S. show Watch What Happens Live on Thursday (18Sep14) as people in the U.K. were awaiting the outcome of a referendum. People voted to stay part of the United Kingdom.
Liam Neeson showed off his fun side on U.S. show Watch What Happens Live! on Thursday (18Sep14) when he read out famous movie quotes after taking a hit of helium from a balloon. Pal and fellow guest John Benjamin Hickey had to guess the movies from the Taken star's high-pitched lines.
British actor Daniel Radcliffe has made good on a two-year promise to pay back members of an Irish youth soccer team after borrowing money from them for a cab fare. The Harry Potter star reportedly partied with the Dublin Minor Football team back in 2012 after a big win, but found himself without cash to get home after the bash.
He was loaned the funds by generous team members, and on Thursday (18Sep14), they were finally reimbursed.
Former Dublin soccer player Conor Mullally shared a Twitter.com photo of a handwritten message from Radcliffe, alongside a 50 Euro ($64/£40) note.
The accompanying caption reads, "Two years later,Daniel Radcliffe pays us back the taxi fare from that infamous night #gent".
In the actor's letter, the 25 year old wrote, "Hi guys, So, thanks again for paying for my cab! I couldn't live with myself if I didn't honour my word and pay you back. Once again, great meeting you all. Hope this covers it."
Actor Anthony Daniels is convinced he won the original role of C-3Po in Star Wars because he had no interest in playing a droid. The British star only agreed to meet with filmmaker and franchise creator George Lucas back in the 1970s to be polite and is convinced his laid-back attitude landed him the part.
He tells EW.com, "I wasn't interested in the slightest. In fact, I was being polite by going to meet George Lucas. Can you imagine that? I was polite in the room, but it wasn't a very interesting conversation because he was collapsing from having met pretty much every actor in England.
"I wandered in, and I think it was a refreshing change for him because I didn't do what so many people apparently did - this stiff robotic dance. He had lots of people coming in being a robot, which to me is slightly embarrassing. What do you say to somebody who comes in like that?
"I was utterly relaxed because I didn't want the job anyway. I only spoke about this picture out of something to talk about."
Daniels is set to reprise his role in the sci-fi franchise for the new sequel, Star Wars: Episode VII.
He recently revealed he had initially turned down the offer of a voice-only role from new director J.J. Abrams and instead convinced him to use live action instead of computer generated imagery to create C-P3O, allowing him to climb back into the robot's famous golden metal suit.
British actor Jamie Campbell Bower is celebrating after plans to tear down one of his favourite parts of London were ditched. Developers wanted to rejuvenate an area under the Queen Elizabeth Hall on the city's South Bank to make way for shops and restaurants.
The proposal attracted a petition signed by 6,000 opponents - including stars Russell Brand, Damien Hirst and Lauren Laverne - who wanted to preserve the walkway as it is a popular spot for skateboarders, and the plans have now been axed after 17 months of legal battles.
Harry Potter actor Bower was a keen supporter of the Long Live Southbank campaign, and he took to Twitter.com to celebrate the news, writing, "An amazing victory for @Long_Live_SB so happy and proud of the work they've done to protect the space x (sic)."
Bower recently suffered a nasty skating injury to his left arm.

Apple-loving pop star Lily Allen has inked a deal to promote smartphones for the technology giant's arch rival Samsung.
The Smile hitmaker, who is frequently pictured carrying her beloved iPhone and uses the company's iPad tablet computers, is the new brand ambassador for the Galaxy Alpha. Samsung's latest cell phone is a rival to Apple's new iPhone 6 and company bosses are investing $16 million (£10 million) in its launch campaign. It seems the deal has already had an effect on Allen's allegiances - earlier this month (Sep14) she was pictured leaving a hotel in Dublin, Ireland showing off a new Samsung phone instead of her usual Apple gadget.
The campaign launches with a TV advert featuring Allen's song As Long As I Got You, which runs on U.K. networks from Saturday (20Sep14). A spokesman for Samsung U.K. and Ireland says, "The Galaxy Alpha is a smartphone that pushes the boundaries in terms of its style and technology and we wanted a campaign that was culturally relevant with young minded consumers. Our goal is to bring this mobile brand platform to life in a way that is relevant to our audience."
