Action man Dwayne Johnson has been cast as comic book villain Black Adam in the upcoming Shazam blockbuster. The Hercules star has been hinting about a role in the superhero film for several months and on Wednesday (03Sep14) Johnson revealed he will play the bad guy.
In a message on Twitter.com, he writes,"'Kneel at his feet or get crushed by his boot'. My honor to become.. #BlackAdam #TheAntiHero #DCComics."
Details surrounding the film have yet to be released, but Shrek Forever After's Darren Lemke is reportedly writing the script, while Hiram Garcia will produce with Johnson, according to Variety.com.
Ice skater/actress Lynn-Holly Johnson is still struggling to recover from a near-fatal stroke she suffered in 2010. The For Your Eyes Only star has spent the past four years working to improve her condition following a stroke likely caused by three blood clots that travelled to her brain through a small hole in her heart.
Johnson's husband, Kelly Givens, tells People magazine, "She was like a (toy) Etch A Sketch that someone shook and suddenly just went blank. She had a look of fear in her eyes."
Johnson had to spend the next 10 days in a hospital and when she returned home she struggled to regain her basic cognitive functions.
She says, "I was crying every day, always on edge."
Now, the actress estimates she is "80 per cent back," but admits she still battles small issues like losing her train of thought at least once a day.
However, the ordeal has inspired her to become an advocate and help others in her position by urging those who have a family history of patent foramen ovales (hole in the heart) to undergo risk tests.

Ashlee Simpson and Evan Ross have tied the knot.
The couple exchanged vows on Sunday (31Aug14) during a private ceremony at the Greenwich, Connecticut mansion of the groom's mum, Diana Ross, according to multiple reports.
The bride's newlywed sister Jessica Simpson served as Ashlee's matron of honour, almost two months after her own wedding to husband Eric Johnson, while her kids Maxwell, two, and son Ace, 14 months, took on the roles of flower girl and ring bearer, respectively. Bronx Mowgli, Ashlee's five-year-old son with ex-husband Pete Wentz, walked his mum down the aisle.
This is actor Ross' first marriage and the second for Simpson, who was married to the Fall Out Boy rocker from 2008 to 2011. Ross proposed to Simpson in January (14) after just six months of dating.
The bride's father, Joe Simpson, was clearly thrilled about the big day, posting a tweet hours before the nuptials, which read, "Today my little girl gets married. Congrats Ashlee and Evan."
Reports suggest Simpson wore a pearl-embellished white wedding dress and $750,000 (GBP441,000)-worth of Neil Lane rubies.
A machine gun that sparked a raid on Sam and Aaron Taylor-Johnson's home on Thursday night (28Aug14) will go under the hammer in October (14). Police officers were called to the Fifty Shades of Grey director's London home after a passer-by noticed a machine gun on a desk through the window.
They entered the property and discovered the weapon was a decommissioned M16 assault rifle which had been given to the moviemaker for an art project.
The gun is part of an anti-war art collection called Peace One Day M16 and will go under the hammer at Bonhams auction house in London on 17 October (14) to raise funds for the international charity.
According to Britain's Daily Mail, the couple, who were out during the raid, now face talks with the Metropolitan Police about wasting officers' time and resources.
Rapper Young Jeezy has been released from jail after posting $1 million (£588,000) bail for a gun possession charge linked to a fatal shooting at a recent concert. The hip-hop star, real name Jay Jenkins, was taken into custody last Sunday (24Aug14) after police discovered an assault rifle on his tour bus.
Detectives believe the firearm is the same weapon used to kill 38-year-old record label boss Eric Johnson backstage at Jeezy's joint Under the Influence of Music concert with Wiz Khalifa in Mountain View, California on 22 August (14).
Jeezy and five members of his entourage were arrested and charged as no one came forward to claim ownership of the gun.
He pleaded not guilty to the count during a court hearing in Newport Beach, California on Tuesday (26Aug14) and he walked free from jail on Thursday night (28Aug14).
The rapper also posted bail for his five associates. He is due back in court next Friday (05Sep14).
Police were called to the home of moviemaker Sam Taylor-Johnson and her actor husband Aaron on Thursday night (28Aug14) after a passer-by spotted a machine gun in the London property.
Officers attended the scene after receiving a report that an automatic weapon could be seen through a window. However, it emerged the gun, which had been placed on a desk, was a fully decommissioned M16 rifle given to Taylor-Johnson as part of an art project.
Neither the director nor her Nowhere Boy star husband Aaron were at the property when cops called.
A spokeswoman for the couple tells the BBC, "We can confirm that early this morning police were called to the London home of Mr. and Mrs. Taylor-Johnson following a report of a firearm on the premises by a concerned passer-by. "The family were not present in the property at the time but the police gained entry via a key holder. The firearm was located in Sam Taylor-Johnson's basement studio and has been confirmed as a certified and fully decommissioned M16 assault rifle that was provided to Mrs. Taylor-Johnson by the international charity Peace One Day as part of an art project entitled Peace One Day M16."
Rapper Young Jeezy has pleaded not guilty to charges of possessing the assault rifle believed to be the gun used to kill a record label boss backstage at a concert last week (22Aug14). The 36-year-old MC, real name Jay Jenkins, was arrested on Sunday (24Aug14) during a raid by police officers investigating the fatal shooting, which took place backstage at the rapper's Under the Influence of Music Tour concert with Wiz Khalifa on Friday (22Aug14) in Mountain View, California.
Cops suspected the weapon found on Jeezy's tour bus was the same rifle used in the shooting incident, and when no one came forward to claim ownership, the rapper, along with five members of his entourage, were taken into police custody.
On Monday (25Aug14), the hip-hop star's bail was set at $1 million (£588,000), and on Tuesday (26Aug14) he pleaded not guilty to possessing an illegal assault weapon in a Newport Beach, California, court.
Despite the fact weapons charges have been filed, police have yet to arrest a suspect responsible for the shooting death of 38-year-old record label boss Eric Johnson.
Meanwhile, Wiz Khalifa's Under the Influence of Music tour stop in Chula Vista, California on Saturday (23Aug14) was cancelled following the tragedy, and another date scheduled for Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan next month (Sep14) has also been axed due to "Michigan State University's review of recent events and assessment of campus concerns".
