Singer Lana Del Rey has cancelled her tour dates in Europe due to illness.
The Young and Beautiful hitmaker also backed out of a Tuesday (16Sep14) appearance on BBC Radio 1. A statement from the singer's record label representative reads, "For medical reasons independent of our will, the artist (Lana Del Ray) has been forced to cancel all promotional activities planned in Europe over the coming days."
Del Rey has opened up about her health problems in the past, but has not identified what she suffers from.
She said, "I'd been sick on tour for about two years with this medical anomaly that doctors couldn't figure out. That's a big part of my life: I just feel really sick a lot of the time and can't figure out why."

Rocker Nick Cave is still stunned pop princess Kylie Minogue agreed to duet with him in the 1990s because her record label bosses feared it would tarnish her image.
The rock wildman invited his fellow Australian to guest with him on his song Where the Wild Roses Grow in 1996, and the surprising collaboration became an unlikely hit, reaching the top 10 of charts across Europe and peaking at number two in their native country. Now Cave has opened up about the duet, revealing he feared the project was in jeopardy because Minogue's management team was not happy with her associating with drug-addled Cave and his band of hellraisers.
He tells Britain's Telegraph magazine, "It was a miracle that she agreed to do that song. I think her management wasn't happy about it - I mean we were just a bunch of junkies sitting in the studio, and she walked in full of life and love and goodwill. It was so different to have somebody like that around for a few months, and we had this hit, we became defined by Kylie and Kylie's presence."
Singer Art Garfunkel has just completed a walk through Europe he began in 1988. The Simon & Garfunkel star began his periodical wandering from Ireland to Turkey after marathon walks through America and Japan, and he finally reached his destination last month (Aug14), before embarking on his latest European tour.
A spokesman for the Bright Eyes singer, who recently won his battle with a lengthy vocal problem that threatened to end his career, says, "He walks all day, gets picked up at night, finds a hotel then gets dropped off in the same spot the next morning... He just likes walking!"
Garfunkel adds, "I walk for the exercise, for the spiritual flush. I sing, I write, I try to connect with the wonder of it all. It's been a beautiful, healthy, and fine madness."
Rapper Iggy Azalea has denied reports she has made a sex tape, insisting anyone who tries to make a profit from sleazy footage is a "sex offender".
On Thursday (11Sep14), founder and co-chairman of adult film company Vivid Entertainment, Steven Hirsch, announced he had obtained a video apparently showing the Fancy hitmaker.
Hirsch, whose company is responsible for releasing famous sex tapes belonging to Pamela Anderson and former Playmate Kendra Wilkinson, even claimed Azalea's alleged video rivals Kim Kardashian's infamous sex tape with then-boyfriend Ray J, released by Vivid in 2007. However, the 24-year-old Australian rapper took to Twitter.com the same day to fire back at the reports, insisting she has not made any scandalous videos, and slammed anyone trying to sell them.
She writes, "I don't have a sex tape but for the record... Anyone who releases or attempts to make profit off someone else's intimate moments against their will is a sex offender. "It honestly makes me sick to see the media encourage any other attitude towards those sorts of people, we should want to protect our women. I really hope that america will follow Europe and their laws to better protect peoples privacy and fundamental rights."
A representative for music mogul Clive Davis has blasted allegations suggesting he has been having an affair with a married woman after her estranged husband slapped him with legal papers. South Carolina businessman Tig H. Krekel filed the lawsuit in New York's Manhattan Supreme Court this week (begs08Sep14), asking a judge to hold Davis in contempt after he failed to respond to a subpoena requesting personal records.
Krekel is seeking access to the 82 year old's diary, travel itinerary, phone records, letters, texts and emails in a bid to prove his claim that the legendary producer has been involved in an "illicit relationship" with his fashion executive wife, Rosanna, who allegedly accompanied Davis to numerous black tie events and vacationed with him onboard his yacht in Europe earlier this year (14).
Rosanna Krekel filed for divorce in South Carolina, seeking spousal support from her ex - but he is determined to prove she was unfaithful. State law prohibits a spouse from receiving alimony if he or she has committed adultery.
Rosanna's lawyer, Robert Rosen, has denied her husband's accusations, stating, "There has been no adulterous relationship between Clive Davis and Rosanna Krekel. He's been a close family friend of Rosanna and her mother and her brother for many, many years."
And a spokesman for Davis, who gave Rosanna away at her 2008 wedding, tells the New York Post, "The allegations are beyond ridiculous. This frivolous lawsuit is clearly an attempt to embarrass his former spouse."
The record industry icon, who has guided the careers of Whitney Houston, Aretha Franklin and Kelly Clarkson, among others, has been married and divorced twice.
He came out as bisexual last year (13) after detailing a long romance with a male doctor in his 2013 autobiography.
Britney Spears' new lingerie line has been in the works for the past decade. The pop superstar launched The Intimate Britney Spears collection on Tuesday (09Sep14), during New York Fashion Week, and she admits the catwalk show has been a long time coming.
She tells U.S. breakfast show Good Morning America, "Ten years ago, I was in Europe and I went to this vintage, like, artsy fartsy (sic), really, really cool, small boutique store with all of these lingerie and sleepwear lines...
"Ever since I went there I've wanted to do this, so it's been for 10 years that I've been trying to put this line together."
And the Toxic hitmaker reveals she took pride in getting involved in the design and creation process and refused to rush release the sexy sleepwear collection.
She adds, "It's very romantic, very vintage, muted colours, I'm really passionate about it... It's taken a year and a half to put it (the pieces) together. I've been very hands-on."
Italian opera singer Magda Olivero has died, aged 104. The soprano passed away on Monday (08Sep14) at a hospital in Milan, Italy. She had suffered a stroke in August (14).
Olivero enjoyed success in Europe and the U.S. during her 70-year career and continued performing in public until the age of 99.
She enjoyed roles in operas such as Tosca, Fedora, Madame Butterfly and Luigi Cherubini's adaptation of Medea.
Officials at La Scala opera house in Milan held a moment of silence before a performance on Monday in memory of the singer.
Miley Cyrus has defended her decision to publish pictures of her cannabis habit online, insisting she does not promote drug-taking to kids or feature it in her songs.
The Wrecking Ball singer is open about her love of marijuana and even lit up what appeared to be a joint onstage at the MTV Europe Music Awards in Amsterdam, Netherlands in November (13). Cyrus has also come under fire from anti-drugs campaigners for posting risque snaps related to her habit on her Twitter and Instagram pages, and she was recently targeted for sharing a photo of a giant bong online.
However, the pop star is adamant she is not a bad influence on her young fans, telling Australia's Channel Seven, "I put pictures of me smoking weed, I'm not going to lie, on my Instagram because I was brought up in the way that we never thought marijuana was bad... I don't promote it in my songs... it's not like I'm sitting around telling a bunch of kids to do a bunch of drugs."
Cyrus is adamant nasty comments posted on the Internet are more harmful than her drugs pictures, adding, "You know what hurts your brain? Googling yourself. You know what hurts your brain? Instagram. You know what hurts your brain? Sitting there reading comments on Facebook. I have a 14-year-old sister and I go through her comments and people are calling her a slut and that's a 14-year-old. So I think that's hurting your brain."
