It’s been a long time coming, but Halle Berry finally proves that her Monster's Ball Oscar win wasn’t a fluke. Too bad this slow and overwrought tearjerker is never as good as the heart-wrenching performances given by Berry and Benicio Del Toro.

Like a big glass of milk and a slice of apple pie, Because of Winn-Dixie is just as wholesome as it gets, if you don't mind overdosing on the sugar once in awhile.

Shaun of the Dead lumbers from parody to drama to B movie to comedy. The lack of stick-to-itiveness sucks the life right out of this zombie comedy.
