Pop superstar Enrique Iglesias has set himself the target of performing in every viable country on the planet.
The Hero singer admits he loves touring and enjoying the sights and sounds of new cultures, and he won't retire from the stage until he's played every nation he can. In a new video posted on his website, which features recent footage of the star in India, Dubai and Turkey, he says, "My favorite part of being on the road is being able to go to so many different countries, different cultures. I wanna be able to tour in every country around the world. I love going to new places. I love touring. "I love being able to say that I can tour in South Africa and then all over Europe and North America and Asia."
But there's one big drawback to life on the road - and it's not how little time he spends with girlfriend Anna Kournikova.
He explains, "I wish I could take my dogs with me to every single country and city... Trust me, I've thought about it. Unfortunately, I'm working most of the time when I'm on the road, so it would be tough."
Veteran crooner Julio Iglesias has yet to meet his son Enrique's longtime girlfriend Anna Kournikova. The pop star has been dating the retired tennis ace and model for over a decade but his father has confessed he has never met the beauty.
Iglesias tells Britain's Daily Mirror, "I have to tell the truth, I have never met Anna. Yes, my wife, and my kids and his brothers have, but I have never met her, no, no, never."
But he approves of his son's choice of lover, adding, "Anna is very beautiful. They have good taste, my kids."
"I'm not against marriage, not at all... But when you've been with someone for such a long time, I don't think it's going to bring us closer together. I don't think it's going to... make us any happier." Pop star Enrique Iglesias is adamant he will never wed his longterm partner, former tennis champ Anna Kournikova.
Enrique Iglesias' girlfriend Anna Kournikova gave the singer the go-ahead to cavort with semi-naked women in the video for his saucy new single. The Spanish star is seen partying with girls in their underwear in the promo for new track I'm a Freak, and in one saucy scene, he is filmed stroking and slapping a female extra's buttocks.
However, Iglesias insists his long-term partner, tennis star/model Kournikova, loves the video and gave him the green light to dance with scantily-clad girls.
He tells Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper, "My girlfriend doesn't normally come to shoots, but she judges the video saying what she does and doesn't like. She loves this video and it's because she knows me and she knows if it's fun and it feels real, then it's right. She will be the first one to say, 'No, that feels forced'."
The Hero singer goes on to insist he did not set out to shock fans by filming a deliberately provocative promo, adding, "I think it's OK to be sexual as long as it's honest. People know if it's honest or not. It really isn't about the 'wow' factor or trying to shock.
"There is a song where I sing 'Tonight I wanna f**k you' and it's so raw and opposite to a song like Hero.
"There is a lot of honesty to that and I think it comes down to how comfortable you feel singing that and I feel very comfortable singing it. It's one of my favourite songs."
Enrique Iglesias was shocked to discover a semi-naked female fan in the grounds of his home last month (Jan14) after she swam up to the property and climbed over the sea wall. The singer was at home with his longtime girlfriend Anna Kournikova when he found the woman wandering around the grounds of his mansion in Miami, Florida clad in nothing but her underwear.
Iglesias called his security team to remove the woman, who had approached the property through dangerous waters, but the singer took pity on her and Kournikova even offered some clothes to keep her warm.
The pop star tells Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper, "She climbed up a sea wall and I woke up and saw her wandering around. I was like, 'What is this?' You can only get to my place by water and it can be dangerous. Security grabbed her and wanted to know if I would press charges but I would never do that. The first thing I did was go and see if she was OK. I went to the guard house and she was soaking wet - it was a cold day. I was shocked that she had taken the risk.
"My girlfriend was nice enough to give her some clothes and we took her back to her hotel room and made sure she was OK. My girlfriend is very sweet when it comes down to things like that."
Veteran musician Julio Iglesias has poured doubt on reports suggesting his singer son Enrique is set to wed his longtime girlfriend Anna Kournikova next week (begs13May13) - because he hasn't been invited. Hero hitmaker Enrique Iglesias was alleged to be walking down the aisle with the former tennis player, his partner of 12 years, in Miami, Florida in front of guests including Jennifer Lopez, Eva Longoria and David and Victoria Beckham.
But his famous father is adamant the rumours are just that as he has yet to hear anything about the supposed nuptials directly from his son.
During a press conference in Mexico, where he is currently on tour, the 69 year old said, "I don't think that my son's getting married. He would have told me."
However, Enrique's own publicist, Joe Bonilla, admitted it wouldn't come as a shock if the Spanish hunk did decide to exchange vows in secret.
He tells the Efe news agency, "Enrique is like the tide, always surprising. If he's planning to get married, I'm sure that he's going to surprise us all."
The stunning sportswoman has announced she will not be returning for the 13th season of the programme.
Kournikova, who is singer Enrique Iglesias' longtime partner, was a popular addition to the coaching team on the show when she signed up for the 12th season at the beginning of 2011.
A statement from her reads, "Although I will not be returning as a full time trainer on season 13, I will always be a part of The Biggest Loser family and my commitment to bettering lives through health and fitness will continue."
This 12th season of The Biggest Loser saw the departure of starring trainer Jillian Michaels, who had been with the series since its inception. Hired to replace Michaels was the household (if not unspellable) name of former professional tennis player, Anna Kournikova. Although NBC was optimistic about Kournikova's joining the series -- considering her notoriety and expertise with physical well-being -- she will not be returning to The Biggest Loser for another season.
On the series, Kournikova trains contestants alongside Bob Harper, who has also been with the show since its beginnings in 2004. For reasons not yet entirely explained, Harper will be alone once more. Kournikova stated, "I enjoyed my time on The Biggest Loser ranch. Although I will not be returning as a full time trainer on season 13, I will always be a part of The Biggest Loser family and my commitment to bettering lives through health and fitness will continue."
Kournikova's replacement is not yet determined. The Biggest Loser airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on NBC.
Apparently, being hot is qualification enough to replace fitness guru Jillian Michaels on The Biggest Loser. Meet the new trainer: Anna Kournikova. One thing is for sure, this show is getting a big ol' dose of different.
Michaels was a tough teacher, known for screaming at contestants and pushing them to their limits. How else would these folks jump into such amazing shape? I'm sorry, but I'm not sure Kournikova can hack it. Unless she's planning on teaching the weight loss contestants how to work up a sweat by hooking up with Enrique Iglesias on a bathroom counter, I doubt she'll pack the punch that Michaels famously throws. I've watched small clips of that woman training people and I wanted to start screaming and crying even though the only activity I was performing at the time was lifting my cup of iced coffee to my face. She's insane, but that's why she's so good.
Kournikova is just hot. That's it. Obviously, she's in great shape, she's a pro-athlete (but it's not like she's Serena Williams or something), and she definitely works out and watches her diet meticulously, but hey, Kim Kardashian's got a big chunk of that description on her resume and you don't see anyone asking her to train people on The Biggest Loser. The folks at NBC have total confidence in this decision, asserting that when she gets angry she stars speaking in Russian and that's somehow supposed to make up for the lack of Michaels' screeching. Sure, there's nothing like a trainer yelling at you in a language you can't understand. I'm sure that will go over really well.
NBC also want to express that this next season is taking a different direction towards overall health and wellness instead of just focusing on fitness. It sounds like a cop-out for what should really be, "With Jillian leaving we decided to get someone super hot and famous to come train the contestants so we can snag more viewers." But of course, they'd never admit that!
Even so, I'm sure they'll still get these folks working hard if for no other reason than the fact that staring at Anna Kournikova all day, everyday would urge just about anyone to get fit.

Unlike her tennis counterparts Steffi Graf and Martina Hingis, Anna Kournikova achieved international fame not for winning a championship tournament, but for the glamour and sex appeal she brought to the sport. The Russian-born beauty trained at an early age, displaying prowess on the court while training at top tennis academies. Kournikova captivated the sports world with an impressive Grand Slam debut at the 1996 U.S. Open, where she reached the fourth round of competition against top-ranked Graf. Kournikova failed to win a singles title throughout her career, but instead showed her strength as a doubles player along with her partner (and former competitor) Hingis. Trading in her tennis gear for skimpy swimsuits while posing in numerous magazine pictorials, including the 2004 Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue, helped rebrand Kournikova's image from a rising tennis star into one of the world's sexiest athletes. Despite attracting plenty of media attention for her bombshell court attire and her steamy romance with crooner Enrique Iglesias, Kournikova also used her fame to help others, whether it was playing in charity matches or appearing as a celebrity trainer on "The Biggest Loser" (NBC, 2004- ), which endeared her to millions as a genuine role model.
