Actress Anna Faris discovered Mickey Rourke hates noisy babies after a run-in with the movie star on a flight from London to Los Angeles. Faris' husband, Chris Pratt, recently expressed his disdain after hearing The Wrestler star had complained about the couple's son Jack on a 2013 flight, and The House Bunny actress opened up about the incident during an interview with U.S. talk show host Jimmy Kimmel on Tuesday (10Feb15).
She recalled, "The longest trip we've ever done is to London to visit Chris when he was shooting Guardians of the Galaxy... It is a long trip...
"On the way back - and he (Jack) does great, he's a beautiful little boy - we're on the tarmac at Heathrow (Airport), it's quiet... before the engines roar and he starts vocalising... not screaming, not crying, just being adorable, I thought, but I'm also sweating because everyone is hating me around me, because they know (babies cry on flights).
"So across the aisle, I hear a 'shhhh' and I look over and it's Mickey Rourke. I was already so nervous before and knowing that everyone hated me, and then to have Mickey Rourke confirm that didn't feel great. I got shushed by Mickey Rourke... and then he started grumbling, like (he wanted to say), 'You better shut that baby up...'"
Faris reveals the rest of the flight went smoothly as both her son and Rourke fell asleep, but she was stunned to learn he has apparently made a habit of silencing kids after sharing her in-flight experience with a colleague on the set of her TV sitcom Mom.
She said, "I came home and I told a writer of Mom. I said, 'Mickey Rourke shushed my baby', and she said, 'The same thing happened to me at a restaurant!' Apparently Mickey Rourke has a thing, he likes to shush babies!"
Pratt recently told GQ magazine he was not happy with Rourke after the incident, saying, "Like he's the baby whisperer. Like he's gonna get the baby to stop crying when the baby's mother can't, just by aggressively shushing the baby. Motherf**ker. I was like, 'Damn, the f**in' Wrestler shushed my baby'."
Lindsay Lohan is facing a possible jail term for counting meet-and-greets with fans as part of her community service work.
The Mean Girls actress raced to finish her 240-hour volunteering before a court deadline on Wednesday (26Jan15) but officials have called into question the legitimacy of work she carried out in London. It is alleged she volunteered 80 hours in just nine days, counted 18 hours of meet-and-greets with fans outside her London play as part her requirement, and also included 70 hours of being "shadowed" by young people on internships.
Prosecutor Terry White was given extra time to verify the work she carried out with London organization Community Service Volunteers (CSV), and he wants a judge to punish the actress for copping out of her community service requirements, according to TMZ.com. White has accused Lohan of manipulating the system to reach her target hours and wants her sent to jail for not completing her community order legitimately.
Lohan's lawyer Shawn Holley told a Los Angeles judge that CSV bosses had approved the volunteering tasks Lohan undertook in London. A decision will be taken once White has investigated further with CSV bosses.
Singer John Legend has credited his model wife Chrissy Teigen with the idea of sending free food to protesters in New York last month (Dec15). The pair teamed up with #OperationHelporHush in December (14) to send a food truck to a group of demonstrators who braved freezing temperatures in the Big Apple to voice their outrage over the U.S. cop killings that sparked outrage last year (14).
The pair sponsored the truck and paid for meals of macaroni and cheese to be dished out to protesters in Manhattan, and Legend admits he can't take full credit for the scheme as it was his wife who thought up the plan.
He tells America's GQ magazine, "That was Chrissy's idea. Originally, we were thinking about buying out a restaurant, but we realised we should bring the food to them."
Hundreds of Americans took to the streets last year (14) to protest after grand juries failed to indict police officers over the killing of two African-American men. Teenager Michael Brown was shot in Missouri and Eric Garner died after he was apparently placed in a chokehold as he was arrested in the Big Apple for illegally selling cigarettes.
Diplo received a slew of death threats and disturbing messages from Taylor Swift's fans after he became embroiled in an online feud with Lorde over the former country star. The DJ/producer started the argument by making a joke about Swift's body shape, prompting pranksters to launch an Internet campaign to raise funds to buy the singer a new "booty".
The online running joke infuriated Swift's pal Lorde, who waded into the furore by flinging insults at Diplo, accusing him of having a "tiny penis" and sparking a war-of-words between the pair.
Diplo has now opened up about the row in an interview with America's GQ magazine, calling the feud "really dumb" and revealing he was bombarded with chilling threats from Swift's army of devotees.
He says, "It's really dumb. So many great albums came out that week, and all people talked about... was Me vs. Lorde, and Kim Kardashian's butt. No one covered any music... And it's funny, because me and Lorde, we're actually friends, and it was a funny, in-jest conversation. So many tabloids used it to make it story, when it was not. Literally, it was such a tongue-in-cheek joke on both sides.
"I think Taylor Swift is such an impactful character, that it was because she was involved that it became really big... The repercussions (were) really bad. Like, Taylor Swift fans are really crazy. They threatened to murder me and stuff. It's really bizarre, and disgusting. They're the worst people in the world... (They said things like) I wish your kids had Down syndrome... I dissed Lady Gaga before, and... (her fans) were never even this mean. They're funny. These people (Swift's fans) are like mean-spirited, evil human beings. I'm not a politician. I shouldn't have to be under the microscope for people like that."
You can stop re-reading Lena Dunham's book and obsessing over her Instagram posts with Taylor Swift now. Girls is back! The show's fourth season premieres today (January 11) on HBO. While we love watching Hannah, Marnie, Jessa and Shoshanna generally make a mess out of their lives, there are certain things we want to see happen this season. And because we sometimes take our cues from the always-unsatisfied Hannah, we're going to whine about it.
1. Hannah to stop dreaming about her writing career and, you know, actually WRITE.
It made us so mad when she dissed a perfectly respectable job at GQ last season. She was good at the job and they had free snacks. Hello?
2. Adam gets more screen time.
Mainly because Girls needs to make the most Adam Driver before he leaves the show to become a huge star. He has a role in the new Stars Wars movie, so it could happen.
3. Shoshanna and Ray to realize they belong together.
They weirdly made sense as a couple.
4. Jessa to fall in love.
'Cause wouldn't it be fun to see her feel actual emotions?
5. Marnie to be less annoying.
That includes maybe giving up her singing aspirations. Because while Allison Williams is good, Marnie is not.
6. More scenes where all the girls are together.
The show's title is plural after all. We want more scenes that show why these four gals are actually friends.
7. Meeting Shoshanna's parents.
We know this is actually coming true (Ana Gasteyer and Anthony Edwards have been cast), and we cannot wait! We've met all the other girls' parents by this point, and we have a feeling Shosh's parents are going to be the best ones yet.
8. More Andrew Rannells.
Because everything needs more Andrew Rannells.
9. More scenes between Shoshanna and Adam.
Their characters are so wildly different that it makes every scene between them hilarious.
10. A cameo by Taylor Swift or Jack Antonoff.
Lena's bestie and her boyfriend. We'd love to see how Lena would work them into the show - even if it was just a blink-and-you'll-miss-it appearance.
11. A crossover with the Broad City ladies.
Don't you think Hannah could be besties with Abbi and Ilana? Think of all the shenanigans they could get into together. Hey, a girl can dream.
12. More poor life decisions.
Because no matter how much they make us want to scream at the TV sometimes, we realize that if Hannah and Co. had their sh*t together, there would be no reason to watch!

Actor Eddie Redmayne has been named the Best Dressed Man in Britain in a GQ magazine poll. The Les Miserables star was dubbed the "country's most admired clothes horse" by editors at the publication, pipping Benedict Cumberbatch to the top spot.
Cumberbatch came in second, ahead of Fifty Shades of Grey star Jamie Dornan in third.
Other stars featured in the top 50 include Arctic Monkeys rocker Alex Turner, actor Idris Elba, Charles, Prince of Wales and David Beckham, who came in 46th place, behind his 12-year-old son Romeo, who stood at number 25.
As 2014 comes to an end, we are looking back at the year in pop culture. Some celebrities had a breakout year or continued their success, while others saw their professional or personal lives go downhill. Here are the celebs who had a great 2014...and those who didn't.
1. Jimmy Fallon
The late-night host took over The Tonight Show in February, bringing his contagious enthusiasm to a larger audience. He and his wife also welcomed their second daughter, Frances. Oh, and he was just named Entertainment Weekly's Entertainer of the Year!
2. Chris Pratt
Parks and Recreation fans already knew Chris was adorable and hilarious, but Guardians of the Galaxy put him on the map as an action hero (and total stud). 2015 is looking good for Pratt too, if Jurrasic World is any hint.
3. Taylor Swift
Her album may be called 1989, but Taylor absolutely dominated 2014. From selling millions of records to hanging out with her posse of celebrity BFFs, the singer was everywhere.
4. Matthew McConaughey
He started out the year winning an Oscar, starred in True Detective, and then blew our minds in Interstellar. The Mcconaissance is still in full swing, and we’re alright, alright, alright with that.
5. Lupita Nyong’o
Another Oscar winner this year, Lupita wowed audiences with her film debut in 12 Years a Slave, and was cast in one of next year’s most anticipated films, Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
6. Shailene Woodley
The actress was the queen of book adaptations this year, starring in the first Divergent movie and then making us all cry as a teen with cancer in The Fault in Our Stars.
7. Iggy Azalea
Iggy was on the radio constantly this summer, both with her single “Fancy” and her collaboration with Ariana Grande on “Problem.” The Australian became the first artist since The Beatles to have the number 1 and 2 Billboard Hot 100 songs at the same time with their first two hits.
8. Neil Patrick Harris
NPH had a banner year, finishing his nine-year role as Barney Stinson in How I Met Your Mother, winning a Tony for the lead in Hedwig and the Angry Inch, and getting married to longtime partner David Burtka. And oh yeah, he also got named the host of next year’s Oscars.
9. Shia LaBeouf
The actor displayed some peculiar behavior this year, wearing a paper bag over his head to a film premiere, staging a strange performance art piece, and getting arrested for causing a disturbance at a performance of Cabaret.
10. Amanda Bynes
The former child star’s troubles continued in 2014, as she was arrested for a DUI in September and admitted to a psychiatric facility shortly after. Let's not even dive into those Twitter rants, as it's too sad and messy to write about.
11. Bill Cosby
A series of rape allegations changed our view of the former sitcom star.
12. Robin Thicke
The singer has fallen far from the 2013 success of his hit “Blurred Lines.” 2014 brought lawsuits and accusations about his writing. His album Paula, a desperate (and creepy) attempt to win back his estranged wife Paula Patton, was a flop.
13. Justin Bieber
Justin didn’t release a new album this year, instead encountering a number of legal problems. He was arrested twice, as well as charged with vandalism. And worst of all, he totally screwed things up with Selena Gomez.
14. Gwyneth Paltrow
In March, the actress announced her separation from Coldplay singer Chris Martin, her husband of ten years. Unfortunately, the public responded by making fun of her and the phrase she used to describe their separation, “conscious uncoupling.”
15. Teresa Giudice
The Real Housewives of New Jersey star and her husband pled guilty to fraud charges, and she was sentenced to 15 months in prison.
16. James Franco
After lashing out at a New York Times critic for a mild criticism of his performance in Broadway’s Of Mice and Men, the actor made headlines again by sending suggestive Instagram messages to a 17-year-old girl.
To everyone who had a good year, congratulations! To those who didn't, 2015 is almost here.
The Hunger Games: Mockingjay: Part 1 star Natalie Dormer and Nicki Minaj have made the cut of GQ magazine's Hottest Women in Culture list for 2014. Dormer has been named Widow of the Year for her portrayal of Lady Margaery Tyrell on Game of Thrones, while Minaj won the title of Poet Laureate of 2014. Other listmakers included Felicity Jones (Irresistible English Accent of the Year) and Keri Russell (Bedroom Move of the Year for The Americans).
Singers Bono and Robin Thicke have been named two of the Least Influential People of 2014 by America's GQ magazine. Editors at the U.S publication have compiled a list of the 30 stars they believe are uninspiring to the general public, noting that this batch of people "took up vast clouds of oxygen, gave us back nothing of use, and probably helped accelerate the death of our planet."
Rocker Bono and his band U2 were criticised in September (14) for releasing their Songs of Innocence album exclusively through iTunes - the record was installed into nearly 500 million users' music libraries automatically.
GQ editors slammed the band for using the stunt as "some kind of noble gift to The People", and added, "This was a $100 million marketing campaign. Yes, $100 million to turn U2's socially conscious dad-rock into a piece of direct mail."
R&B singer Thicke had a rough 2014 after his actress wife Paula Patton filed for divorce - he staged a failed attempt at winning her back by dedicating his latest album, titled Paula, to her.
The publication's editors wrote, "The rest of this cheeseball's career is our collective punishment for making Blurred Lines popular. Let's ALL get a divorce from this man."
Other celebrities making the shameful list are actors Shia LaBeouf, Johnny Depp, Zach Braff and director Woody Allen.
Now-retired baseball pro Derek Jeter, basketball star Dwayne Wade and the whole Brazilian soccer team are among the athletes on the list, while politicians such as U.S. President Barack Obama and his former presidential opponent Senator John McCain also made the cut.
Australian actress Asher Keddie shared her pregnancy news with the world on Wednesday night (19Nov14) by unveiling her baby bump at a red carpet event. The Offspring star showed off her swollen belly in a tight black dress as she attended Australia's GQ Men of the Year Awards in Sydney and confirmed to reporters that she is expecting her first child with her artist husband Vincent Fantauzzo.
She tells News.com.au, "We're thrilled. We're really excited and can't wait... I just feel good now."
The 40-year-old actress married Fantauzzo in April (14).
