"What's quite funny is that I have tonnes of products at home. I've always loved make-up and I'm fascinated by how much it can transform people. But I don't actually wear much of it. It's so ironic - but I just love products!" Actress Emma Watson loves collecting cosmetics, but not necessarily wearing them.
"It was when I was seven or eight. I wanted to be Emma Bunton. She was so, so cute. I had a friend called Ellie and we would fight because she had blonde hair. So she thought she should get to be Emma and I said my name was Emma. This went on for months." Harry Potter star Emma Watson was a huge fan of the Spice Girls as a child.
Real life Bling Ring victim Rachel Bilson has spoken out against Sofia Coppola's decision to "glorify" the celebrity burglaries in a new film, branding the move "weird" and "upsetting". The actress was among a number of stars, including Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan and Orlando Bloom, whose homes were targeted by a gang of young thieves between 2008 and 2009.
The case of the celebrity burglar bunch inspired Coppola's new film The Bling Ring, starring Emma Watson and featuring victim Hilton in a cameo role.
However, Bilson, who reportedly lost her mother's engagement ring in the break-in, insists she doesn't agree with the decision to make the movie.
She tells Britain's Cosmopolitan magazine, "I thought it was weird to glorify something that was so upsetting for a lot of people. It's important to detach from material things, but the special, personal things I lost are hard to forget."
Bilson testified during the trial of real life gang members and revealed the burglary left her so scared, she couldn't sleep in her bedroom for weeks afterwards.
She said, "It took me a while to feel comfortable staying there. I wouldn't sleep in my bedroom for about a month. And I was convinced that I needed to sell my house and get out of there, because I was very scared. But I'm still there."
Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus, Demi Lovato and Justin Bieber are among the pop stars who have landed a handful of top nods in the second wave of nominations for the 2013 Teen Choice Awards. Swift's hit song I Knew You Were Trouble and Cyrus' We Can't Stop will go head-to-head with Lovato (Heart Attack), Anna Kendrick (Cups) and Bieber's ex, Selena Gomez (Come & Get It), for the title of Choice Single: Female Artist, while the Baby hitmaker's Beauty And A Beat is up for the male equivalent, alongside Bruno Mars (Locked Out Of Heaven), Pitbull (Feel This Moment), Justin Timberlake and Jay-Z (Suit & Tie), and Robin Thicke, T.I. and Pharrell Williams (Blurred Lines).
We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together by Swift is also nominated in the categories of best break-up tune and country song.
Candie's Choice Style Icon will be a fight between Cyrus, Lovato, Emma Watson, Lea Michele and Ariana Grande, while the Choice Twitter Personality will be a competition between Bieber, Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Katy Perry and U.S. President Barack Obama.
In the acting categories, Choice Movie Scene Stealer will be a tight race between the likes of Channing Tatum (G.I. Joe: Retaliation), Kellan Lutz (The Twilight Sada: Breaking Dawn - Part 2) and Joseph Gordon-Levitt (The Dark Knight Rises), while the TV nominees include Cyrus for her stint in Two and a Half Men, as well as Glee co-stars Chord Overstreet and Heather Morris.
Singers Blake Shelton and Adam Levine of The Voice scored nominations for Choice TV Personality - Male, and Lovato (The X Factor) and model Heidi Klum (America's Got Talent) picked up mentions for the female equivalent.
The full list was released on Monday (01Jul13), over a month after the first wave of nominations were announced in May (13).
The winners will be unveiled during a special ceremony in Los Angeles on 11 August (13).
Celebrity couple Sienna Miller and Tom Sturridge have shown off their relationship in a steamy new advertising campaign for British fashion house Burberry. The usually private pair, which is parents to daughter Marlowe, is seen up-close-and-personal in the stylish black and white shots, which were snapped by celebrated photographer Mario Testino.
In one picture, Sturridge grabs Miller's leather-clad backside, while in another, the couple kiss behind a Burberry bag.
Burberry designer Christopher Bailey says, "This was a shoot full of love and laughter. It was such a treat to work with Sienna and Tom, and to capture their magic together."
They are the latest Brits to pose for the brand, following in the footsteps of Emma Watson, Kate Moss, Eddie Redmayne and Cara Delevingne.
Actress Emma Watson was in shock after stepping into Paris Hilton's overflowing closet for The Bling Ring as the heiress had more clothes hanging on the rails than she could ever wear. The former Harry Potter star was invited to check out Hilton's mansion while making the new film, inspired by the real-life teens who snatched more than $3 million (£1.9 million) worth of goods from the Hollywood homes of A-listers.
Watson reveals she was in awe of Hilton's massive walk-in wardrobe, which was jam-packed with hundreds of pairs of designer shoes, as well as clothes the socialite had never even worn.
Watson tells the Radio Times, "It's almost like consumerism as a form of kleptomania. She could never wear all of those clothes and half of them were brand new and still had the price tag on. But I suppose she just bought them to have them. We've all bought things on impulse, but that's an entirely different thing."
The Brit insists her fashion tastes are much more modest, adding, "I've got about eight pairs of shoes and that's it."
Emma Watson was left nursing a foot injury on the set of Sofia Coppola's new movie The Bling Ring after a stiletto-wearing extra stood on her toe. The Harry Potter star plays one of the so-called 'Bling Ring' thieves, who snatched more than $3 million (£1.9 million) worth of goods from the Hollywood homes of celebrities including Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan and Orlando Bloom, and in one scene Watson heads to a nightclub to party.
However, the actress was left covered in blood after a clumsy co-star stood on her foot - but Watson remained a true professional by carrying on with the shoot.
She tells Teen Vogue magazine, "We were doing a scene in a nightclub and this girl accidentally put her stiletto through my toe! And the crazy thing is, I had so much adrenaline going through my system that I just kept dancing until, finally, I looked down at my foot and saw the blood."
Napster boss Sean Parker and his new bride have been spat at by strangers in the street as part of a public backlash over their lavish forest wedding earlier this month (Jun13). The Internet billionaire, portrayed on the big screen by Justin Timberlake in The Social Network, wed singer Alexandra Lenas in a woodland ceremony in California on 1 June (13).
He landed in trouble with local officials over claims he didn't apply for a permit from the environmental agency to erect a stone bridge, dig a pond and build a dancefloor in Big Sur's redwood forest, and the reports have also upset eco-campaigners.
Parker insists the backlash from the wedding, which cost a reported $9 million (£5.8 million), became so bad he had to call off his honeymoon to deal with the fallout.
In an email to Britain's Guardian newspaper, he writes, "My wife and I should be happy right now, elated to have been married.
"Instead we are being spat upon by complete strangers while walking together on the street, cursed at by a waiter in a restaurant who had read bogus media reports about our wedding, and told by complete strangers that we should get our divorce papers ready since our marriage clearly isn't going to last.
"Trying to correct every misconception about me would be a losing battle and I would drive myself crazy trying to do it. This situation is different because it relates to one of the most personal and private of moments in life - my wedding."
Sting, Emma Watson and Sean Lennon are believed to be among the stars who attended the nuptials.
British moviemaker Sam Taylor-Johnson has been chosen to direct the Hollywood adaptation of erotic bestseller 50 Shades Of Grey. The Nowhere Boy filmmaker, formerly known as Sam Taylor-Wood, will adapt the E.L. James book for Focus Features, whose bosses have acquired the rights to the raunchy read.
A statement released by producer Michael De Luca reads: "Sam's unique ability to gracefully showcase complex relationships dealing with love, emotion and sexual chemistry make her the ideal director to bring Christian and Anastasia's relationship to life.
"E.L. James' characters and vivid storytelling require a director who is willing to take risks and push the envelope where needed, and Sam is a natural fit."
Anna Karenina's Joe Wright had previously been considered a favourite to take on the film adaptation.
The appointment of Taylor-Johnson is the first major step for the film - they have yet to cast the lead roles of masochistic billionaire Christian Grey and adventurous college student Anastasia Steele.
Canadian TV star Stephen Amell recently ruled himself out of the running to play Grey after meeting with film producers, while Emma Watson previously insisted she had no interest in portraying Steele after leaked studio documents suggested she was moviemakers' top choice for the job.
In a new interview with Playboy magazine, The Social Network star Armie Hammer revealed he had to tell his agent not to pursue the project: "No one actually offered me the movie, but while I was working on Lone Ranger my agent brought it up, and I said 'Nope.' I mean, come on - it's just mommy porn."
