Maroon 5 and Cardi B make it four weeks atop U.S. pop chart

Maroon 5 have helped Cardi B set a new U.S. chart record after earning a fourth week at number one with their Girls Like You collaboration.
The hit song earns the hip-hop sensation her eighth week at the top, breaking a tie with Iggy Azalea for the most total weeks at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 for a female rapper.
Cardi, who turned 26 last week (11Oct18), previously led the countdown with Bodak Yellow last year (17), and returned to the top spot in July (18) with her single I Like It, which featured Bad Bunny and J Balvin.
Girls Like You leads Juice WRLD’s Lucid Dreams at two, followed by Better Now from Post Malone at three.
Rappers Lil Baby and Gunna’s Drip Too Hard climbs to fourth place, while Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper’s duet Shallow, from their movie musical remake A Star Is Born, rounds out the top five at five.
It gives actor-turned-director Bradley his first top 10 entry on the Hot 100, and Gaga’s 15th to date.
