It’s no secret that Chrissy and husband John Legend are #relationshipgoals but they are also super parents to their two children, Luna and Miles Stephens. Chrissy has been more than open to sharing her personal life with her family on her Instagram, including the heartbreaking loss of baby Jack. But she is also not afraid to stand up to haters commenting on her posts, attempting to mom-shame her. She is always quick with witty comebacks (that are also blatantly true if you’ve ever tried being a mom).

Hilary Duff went from Casper the Friendly Ghost to Lizzie McGuire to celebrity mom of 3. She welcomed new baby Mae James Bair with husband Matthew Koma and kids Luca Cruz Comrie and Banks Violet Bair by her side on March 24, 2021. Duff also authored a picture book titled My Little Brave Girl and collaborated with women’s online clothing boutique, Smash + Tess to create rompers for women, little girls, and boys in her, Banks’, and Luca’s names!

Reese Witherspoon’s kids are basically mini Reeses! Reese’s journey to motherhood began at a young age — 22 years old to be exact, when she was pregnant with Ava Phillippe (now 21). In fact, Ava is essentially Reese’s twin! Like every mom-to-be, Reese was candid with People magazine in a 2020 interview about how “terrified” she was and the sleepless nights she endured. Nevertheless, Ava, Deacon Phillippe(17), and Tennessee James Toth (8) are entirely devoted to their famous mother.

Known for her roles in Girls Trip, Set It Off, and The Nutty Professor (just to name a few), Jada Pinkett Smith is also known for her superstar hubby Will Smith and children Jaden and Willow Smith. I was today years old when I found out that Jada Pinkett Smith was also in a BAND in the early 2000s called Wicked Wisdom. Out of all the music genres on the planet, this band performed HEAVY METAL. Dang, I always knew she had talent! Nonetheless, according to ShowBiz Cheat Sheet, Willow Smith gave Jada the all-time Mother’s Day 2021 gift. You guessed it: a reunion with the band members!
Hollywood Celebrity Moms: Goldie Hawn
Goldie Hawn is one of Hollywood’s most iconic actresses. She is also an iconic mother to Kate Hudson, Oliver Hudson, and Wyatt Russell. Kate Hudson credits her mother for being and staying cognizant about her health and wellbeing. Hudson says in a 2020 interview with PureWow:
“Where I learned my discipline is really from my mother. She’s been disciplined forever. I grew up with a parent that was disciplined. I grew up with the knowledge of food, of understanding food and understanding how to boost your immune system, and the importance of being active and being put in dance class my whole life.”
That must also be where Kate Hudson coined the idea for Fabletics! Hawn is also a doting, loving celebrity grandmother to Ryder Robinson, Bingham Hawn Bellamy, Bodhi Hawn Hudson, Rio Hudson, Rani Rose Hudson Fujikawa, and Wilder Brooks Hudson.
Hollywood Celebrity Moms: Jennifer Lopez
J-Lo may still be “Jenny from the block,” but she is also a mother to twins Maximilian David Muniz and Emme Maribel Muniz. Lopez knew Emme had such a great range and overall mature singing voice, that Emme was invited to sing on stage with her during the Super Bowl LIV: Kansas City Chiefs vs. San Francisco 49ers where she nailed the high notes and everything! Even when J-Lo was engaged to baseball player, Alex Rodriguez, she treated his kids like they were her own!
Celebrity moms are just like any other mom! They’re tired, they’re busy, but they are very much dedicated and would kill or die for their kids. Don’t forget to give your mother all the credit she deserves for going above and beyond for you and your siblings (if you have any)! It’s not easy being a mom, so your mom would be delighted to hear your kind words — she is your mother, after all!
