Oregon rockers Stephen Malkmus And The Jicks have scored their own flavour of ice cream to celebrate the release of their new album. Bandmembers have teamed up with bosses at New York's Momofuku Milk Bar to create the frozen treat, which has been named Cinnamon and Lesbians, after their track of the same name.
Full details of the dessert's ingredients have yet to be revealed, but it will be served up to fans from early January (14) for a limited time to coincide with the release of their album Wig Out At Jagbags.
Stephen Malkmus And The Jicks aren't the first celebrities to land their own ice cream flavours - actor Alec Baldwin, jam band Phish and late Grateful Dead star Jerry Garcia have all had Ben & Jerry flavours created in their name.
The actress was miserable while filming upcoming British TV drama Hit and Miss in Manchester last year (11), admitting it was a struggle to endure five and a half months without sunshine or friends.
She tells Interview magazine, "It was very hard being in Manchester. It was one of the grimmest places I'd ever been in my entire life, and I was there for so long. I hardly had any visitors. I was so alone. It rained every single day I was there."
Sevigny immediately returned home to New York City after shooting wrapped, despite discovering that one of her favourite bands, Stephen Malkmus and the Jicks, was due to play in Manchester the day after her flight.
She adds, "I was like, 'I've gotta get the hell out of here. I'm not staying one more night just to hear them', so I left. And I was such a die-hard Pavement fan."
