Former Lostprophets frontman Ian Watkins has pleaded guilty to a number of sex offences, including two charges of attempting to rape a baby. The Welsh star appeared at Cardiff Crown Court in Wales on Tuesday (26Nov13) for the first day of his trial where he sensationally changed his previous not guilty pleas.
The 36 year old, who previously faced 24 charges, admitted a number of offences, including sexually assaulting a child aged under 13, conspiring to sexually assault a child under the age of 13, possessing an indecent photograph of a child and taking indecent photographs of children, as well as possessing an extreme pornographic image involving a sex act on an animal.
He also admitted two counts of attempting to rape a baby, according to Walesonline.co.uk.
Two female co-defendants, aged 21 and 24, who cannot be named for legal reasons, also changed their pleas and admitted a number of offences.
Watkins will be sentenced on 19 December (13).
The singer's group Lostprophets split a month before his trial was due to begin.
British actor Danny Dyer has ruled out having any more children following the birth of his son last month (Oct13). The Human Traffic star became a father for the third time when his partner Joanne Mas gave birth to a boy named Arty.
Dyer, who also has two daughters, Dani, 17, and Sunnie, six, reveals he is delighted to be a dad again, but he is adamant the couple won't be having any more kids.
He tells Britain's OK! magazine, "He's a beauty. He's everything I ever wanted... I was at the births of all of my children. But I tell you this - there will be no more. Three is enough."
The actor admits his little boy turned up at a difficult time, because he was born just two days before Dyer started a new job on British soap opera EastEnders.
Dyer adds, "It's been hard... I started at EastEnders two days after he was born so I've been around, but I'm not around... My missus (partner) Jo has been dealing with a lot of it and that's hard. Even though he's a good baby, he's still a newborn child, and it's a 24-hour watch."

Miller and his former partner Sara McKenna have been locked in a legal battle for custody of their child since before he was born in February (13), with the skier demanding the mother move to San Diego, California so he can be close to his son.
The nine-month-old boy had been living with Miller and his wife, Morgan Beck, since a judge awarded him temporary custody earlier this year (13), but he had to hand the youngster back to McKenna on Monday after a judge in New York gave her temporary custody of the boy until the next court hearing on 9 December (13).
Both parties are seeking a co-parenting arrangement.
The little boy is called Sam by his mother, but his father has named him Nate.
Thor star Chris Hemsworth and his family were rescued by coastguards after their catamaran ran aground close to the Canary Islands on Sunday (24Nov13), according to a U.K. report. The Australian actor was reportedly travelling with his pregnant wife, Elsa Pataky, and 18-month-old daughter India Rose when the vessel ran into trouble off the coast of Spanish territory La Gomera, off the west coast of Africa.
Two rescue boats and a helicopter were sent to help the eight passengers and take them to shore. No one was hurt in the incident.
A source tells Britain's Daily Mail, "Nobody was hurt but any kind of rescue at sea is a scary event, especially for a pregnant woman with a young child."
Hemsworth is in the region to film new Ron Howard movie Heart of the Sea, and his family flew out to join him on set.
The catamaran was reportedly hired by the film's production company to transport the group to Playa de Santiago.
Heart of the Sea tells the story of a whaling ship which sinks in the Pacific Ocean in 1820, which is said to have inspired the tale of Moby Dick.

Natasha Georgette Williams, who has not yet given birth, has reportedly filed legal documents in Miami, Florida suing the Birthday hitmaker for child support payments.
According to editors at TMZ.com, Williams is also asking for good fortune child support, which lets parents in the state seek increased financial help from a person earning a high income.

R&B legend Babyface met Michael Jackson for the first time as a child after tricking a concert promoter in his native Indiana into allowing him to meet and interview the young superstar. The songwriter/producer reveals he was just a kid with dreams of making it in the music industry when he learned his pop idol would be performing in his hometown - so he concocted a plan to meet The Jackson 5 and land a chat with Michael.
Babyface tells U.S. TV presenter Oprah Winfrey, "The Jackson 5 came to town and I figured out how to interview them. I lied and said I was a news reporter and got in to interview the Jackson 5... at 12, 13 years old.
"I looked up the promoter (in the phonebook)... and when I got him, I had to put on my grown voice (sic). I had a Jimmy Stewart (classic actor known for his distinctive drawl) impression, that I did back then, so I talked like Jimmy Stewart and said, 'Hello can I speak to Charles Williams (promoter) please...? I hear that you've got these kids called The Jacksons and they're coming to town and I thought it would be a great idea if I could get my kids to talk to your kids. That'd be swell, what do you think?' And he goes, 'I think it's a great idea...!' He took my number down and he called me 10 minutes later...
"I walked in the (hotel) room (for the interview)... there were two beds there: Jackie and Jermaine were on one bed, Marlon and Tito were on the other bed, and Michael was sitting at the table at the end. I walked in and just ignored them (older brothers) and walked straight to Michael and Michael said, 'Hey, how you doing?' I said, 'It's an honour to meet you' and he said, 'It's an honour to meet you, sit down, have a seat.'
"It was unbelievable. They let me stay in there about 30 minutes."
Now that Heisenberg's journey has come to an end, there's no monarch more twisted than Game of Thrones' King Joffrey. But the smug little face you just want to punch inside out actually belongs to a well-rounded 21-year-old (WHAT?! Yep, it's true) named Jack Gleeson, who has decided he wants the sadistic meglomaniac to be his last role.
Gleeson told The Independent (via The Wrap) the success of GOT showed him the disparity between the lifestyle of a TV star and the troubles in the real world, and made him reevaluate his choices. But Gleeson says, "I'm 21, so it's hard to decide what kind of course life will take," he said. But so far, Gleeson spends exponentially more time contributing to charity work in Haiti than cursing the Starks and clenching his fists.
There will certainly be a snot-nosed-entitled-little-brat-shaped-hole in Hollywood. It will no doubt be quickly filled by a dozen other child actors, but none will do it so well as Gleeson does. Until then, though, we can still look forward to the next season of Game of Thrones, sure to be chock-full of King Joffrey, in early 2014.
Actress Malin Akerman has separated from her Italian rocker husband after six years of marriage, according to a U.S. report. The Watchmen beauty welcomed her first child, son Sebastian, with Roberto Zincone in April (13), but editors at Us Weekly allege the new parents have since parted ways.
A source says, "It's as amicable as can be, and they want to do what's best for their son. Honestly, Malin is not even ready to discuss it. It's a very sad time for her."
The former couple met and fell in love while performing together in rock band The Petalstones, before Akerman pursued a career on screen. They wed in 2007.
The blonde beauty showed no signs of trouble in her marriage in September (13) when she gushed about her relationship, boasting, "We've never had a single fight... We've always talked things out."
Representatives for Akerman have yet to comment on the report.
Actress Megan Fox has offered her support to charity bosses at the Avon Foundation to bring awareness to the plight of women who are victims of domestic violence. The Transformers star and bosses at Avon kicked off the International Day For The Elimination Of Violence Against Women on Monday (25Nov13), and in a video posted to her Facebook.com page, Fox says, "The statistics are frightening, one in three women around the world will be a victim of violence in their lifetime, but people aren't talking about it and without conversation the issue of domestic violence stays hidden. That's why, in recognition of the 16 Days Of Activism Against Gender Violence, I am glad to support Avon's global social media campaign, See The Signs."
Fox, who played a victim of domestic abuse in the video for Eminem's Love the Way You Lie, took part in an Avon Foundation event to educate people about the issue last week (begs18Nov13) in New York, where she debuted her baby bump.
The actress and her husband, Brian Austin Green, are expecting their second child next year (14).
