"Congratulations Kelly Clarkson and Brandon!! I am so happy for you! You will be a wonderful mommy!! Love!" Sugarland star Jennifer Nettles congratulates Kelly Clarkson on her pregnancy news. Justin Bieber's manager Scooter Braun has opened up about his strained relationship with the troubled teen star, revealing the singer has become increasingly difficult to deal with over the last year as he rebels against his handlers. The Baby hitmaker's bad boy behaviour has made him a regular in the headlines in recent months, with antics that have included becoming embroiled in nightclub spats, arguments with his neighbours, brushes with police and leaving fans waiting for hours at his concerts.
Braun has now admitted he has been at odds with the 19-year-old star over his behaviour, and has struggled to keep him on the right path.
He tells The Hollywood Reporter, "When Justin was younger, it was, 'Keep him out of trouble, stop him from falling down, protect him as much as you can from anything that can hurt him'... When I try to do that now, he's resentful, he pushes away and rebels. What I've come to learn is: 'Be there, give the best advice you can, but he has to be allowed to make his own decisions - and his own mistakes.'
"I saw the rebellion, I saw our relationship being hurt. We were struggling in talking to each other because I wasn't having conversations about anything good anymore. It was constantly calling to say, 'No!'"
During the joint interview, Bieber agrees with his manager's observations, adding, "Scooter was like the father figure in my life. But when I started to grow up, it was hard for him to have to listen to my input. I want to be me, to show everybody who I am as an individual. I don't want to just be a puppet."
However, Braun is adamant his charge is not going to burn out in the same manner as other former child stars, adding, "Justin's not going to go crazy. He's not going to end up in rehab. He's not going to end up a statistic. Nine months ago, they said he lost his mind - he hasn't missed a show since."
Bieber insists he doesn't care about the public's opinion of him, saying, "I don't give a f**k... I don't give a f**k what they say... I know who I am and what I'm doing in my life and what I've accomplished and continue to accomplish as a performer, as a writer, as an artist, as a person, as a human being. I'm happy with the man I'm becoming."
Welsh actor Michael Sheen has spoken of the "appalling" conditions he witnessed while visiting Syrian refugees during an aid mission. The Queen actor jetted to the war torn country on behalf of the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) to see how the organisation is helping those displaced by the ongoing conflict between rebels and President Bashar al-Assad's troops.
However, Sheen admits he was not prepared for the squalid state of the camps, where millions of children are struggling for survival, when he was actually on the ground.
He tells BBC News, "Well, it was so overwhelming really. I don't think you're ever prepared to see those kind of conditions really. There was a cluster of about five settlements where I visited and the conditions are just appalling - there is open sewers with children running around barefoot. As I got to the camp you could feel the temperature drop and the rain started to come down as well and you can just imagine, with winter coming on now, with the rain comes floods and it's appalling to think about what will happen there.
"The thing that really impacted me was you start talking to people when you're there and on some level you have this assumption that this is what their lives are like, that they are refugees - and they're not. There was a young girl whose English was quite good and I asked her how she knew such good English and she told me she was studying law. You think these are people who could be us, just out of their homes and having to live in these conditions, with a sense of dignity being eroded all the time."
Sheen has urged Brits to donate to UNICEF's winter aid appeal for Syria as the U.K. government has vowed to match the total raised until January (14).
He adds, "It was amazing to be there and see the winter supplies come in... to see a child pulling their boots on and jacket on was amazing."

No further details on the baby news was available as WENN went to press.

British singer Craig David has cut back on his punishing exercise routine after admitting he became hooked on lifting weights and working out. The Fill Me In hitmaker became fitness focused after moving from Britain to Miami, Florida and shocked fans last year (12) after posting a picture on Twitter.com of his excessively muscly body.
The star has now admitted he took his obsession with staying healthy too far and explains how his memories of being an overweight child drove him to work harder in the gym.
He tells Britain's The Sun, "I took the exercise to the extreme. I wanted to see how ripped I could get. I wanted to prove to no one else but myself that I could take it that far.
"I was religious with the exercise. You can get addicted after a while and it became a big part of my life. I did it because it was a mission I needed to complete. I was trying to prove to the fat kid I was that I could take it to the extreme the other way.
"I'm comfortable with my body now. I never wanted to be a bodybuilder, I was just trying to get to my goal weight. You can't be like that all the time, it makes you lethargic and tired. It's not healthy. But I never want to be that fat kid again. It was not good for my self-esteem or my health."
Embattled rapper Chief Keef has escaped further legal troubles by handing over just enough child support money to prevent him from going to jail. The 18-year-old hip-hop star was hauled before a judge in October (13) after he was accused of failing to pay a court-ordered $2,600 (£1,677)-a-month sum to an unnamed teenage mother who claimed the star had fathered her daughter.

The star is due back in court in December (13).
