Former child star Abigail Breslin has gone topless for a risque new shoot with celebrity photographer Tyler Shields. The Little Miss Sunshine actress, 17, reteamed with the director of her upcoming thriller Final Girl for the racy images, in which she is featured staring into the camera as she sucks on a lollipop and clutches a white sheet against her bare chest to preserve her modesty.
Another picture shows Breslin, with heavy black eyeliner, posing in a bubble bath, as she leans forward to submerge her breasts in the water.
Shields tells Us Weekly magazine, "Abigail wanted to do something new, something iconic. People see her as innocent, but everyone grows up. After we made Final Girl together, we had a great relationship and it was easy to do this. She trusts me."
Breslin isn't the first star to pose for one of Shields' controversial shoots - Mischa Barton recently turned heads in a provocative photo spread, in which the former The O.C. star appears to attempt suicide and rolls around a kitchen floor surrounded by what looks like cocaine. His ex-girlfriend Francesca Eastwood and Lindsay Lohan have also appeared in the snapper's controversial shots.
The daughter of Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick has been named Miss Golden Globe 2014 ahead of the upcoming Hollywood prizegiving. During the announcement on Wednesday (20Nov13), the 21 year old said, "I am so grateful to the Hollywood Foreign Press Association for naming me this year's Miss Golden Globe. As a young actress who is just beginning my career, it is truly an honor to be a part of such a special night in film and television."
The honour is bestowed by members of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, the organisation behind the Golden Globes, and the role is traditionally handed to the child of a celebrity.
Previous Miss Golden Globes include Bruce Willis' daughter Rumer, Kevin Costner's daughter Lily, and Francesca Eastwood, the daughter of Clint Eastwood and actress Frances Fisher.
Actress Vanessa Hudgens popped the blood vessels in her face while filming a birthing scene for her new film, Gimme Shelter. The Spring Breakers star plays a homeless, teenage mum in the movie and admits the content was physically and emotionally difficult to film - especially one scene, in which her character delivers a child.
She tells Eonline.com, "Every single day was definitely a challenge but one I embraced with open arms. It was just so thrilling to be able to push myself every day and see how far I could take it.
"Probably the most physical and emotionally draining scene was my birthing scene. I've never shot a birthing scene and I ended up popping blood vessels in my face."
Despite the ordeal, Hudgens calls the experience "surreal" and explains she felt a deep connection to the role and her onscreen baby.
She says, "It's an odd (thing), it really is. I mean, I totally had a connection with my baby - my movie baby - and I just had so much love for her, but afterwards they call 'cut' and take the baby away and I'm just left there hanging."
"People always say to me, 'Do you feel like you missed out on a childhood? Do you feel like you had your childhood taken away?' And I'm like: 'No, what a ridiculous (question)... kids who are abused have their childhoods taken away from them'." Former child star Daniel Radcliffe is baffled by questions about his time growing up while filming the Harry Potter series.

This is Garces' first child with Hernandez, whom she wed in 2002. Skye is Hernandez's daughter from a previous relationship.
Garces, best known for her role as Maria in the Harold & Kumar comedy films, has also starred on U.S. soap All My Children and TV series Devious Maids.
Denise Richards was stunned and embarrassed when a private letter she sent to Child Protective Services officials regarding the welfare of her ex-husband Charlie Sheen's sons went public. The former Bond girl relinquished responsibility of four-year-old twins Max and Bob earlier this month (Nov13) after urging Los Angeles CPS bosses to consider having the boys evaluated for behavioural issues.
In a letter to a leading official, she detailed what horrors the twins could be, taunting and attacking her daughters and her pets and playing with their faeces.
But she never intended the letter to go viral and was horrified when was picked up by media outlets.
She tells U.S. news show Entertainment Tonight, "I was sick about it... I was angry... Then I stopped and had to think, 'Oh my God, what did I write in that?' It was a very personal thing. I was embarrassed... I thought, 'Maybe I should have done it differently.'
"It wasn't, like, a court document, it wasn't a declaration, I purposely went that way to write something personal as a mom and all of that. I was very upset that something like that would become public."
Richards took on responsibility of Max and Bob and welcomed them into her home when their mother, Brooke Mueller, checked into rehab following a drugs raid on her home earlier this year (13).
The boys' uncle - Mueller's brother - has been given custody of them and he has moved in to his sister's former home to care for them as she tries to regain custody.

Rapper Wiz Khalifa has his wife Amber Rose to thank for paving the way for his collaboration with Adele after she bonded with the singer over motherhood at the 2013 Grammy Awards. Model Rose was heavily pregnant with the couple's first child as they walked the red carpet on music's biggest night in February (13), and new mum Adele was among the guests who ran up to the mum-to-be to chat about her pregnancy glow and the miracle she was carrying.
Khalifa tells Rap-Up.com, "She was like, 'Amber! Amber!' and told her how beautiful she looked."
The British singer eventually turned to Khalifa and the brief red carpet meeting prompted Adele's representatives to reach out to the rapper and propose plans to work together in the studio.
He adds, "Her people contacted some of my people when they found out we were working on the album and sent some ideas through, so we were able to knock some things out."
The track is due to appear on Khalifa's forthcoming album, Blacc Hollywood, which will also feature a duet with Miley Cyrus.
Rose gave birth to son Sebastian just three weeks after the Grammy Awards.
