Since social media has basically eviscerated the definition of privacy, it's become much easier to track the personal lives of celebrities based on what they put up on their Twitters and Instagrams, including who they keep company with. While some stars keep their personal lives personal, other stars love to share their exploits with the people they're close with, whether those people are real life BFFs or online BFFs (or, in Zac Efron's case, a photoshop BFF). From Ian Somerhalder's cute son (i.e. his cat) to Aaron Paul's Heisenberg-reminiscing, here's a look at some of the people that celebs love to post themselves online with.

Is Gaga turning into Donatella or vice versa? More importantly, why is Gaga serving up Ariel from The Little Mermaid realness by combing her hair with a fork? (My apologies if that is an actual dinglehopper.)

The cast of That Awkward Moment has awesome chemistry on and off the screen, but Zac Efron clearly only has eyes for the dog he's making out with on Un Nuevo Dia.

According to the caption, Ian Somerhalder's furry friend is more his son than his BFF. That's nice. Can we talk about how the cat is literally burrowing his way into Ian's butt, though?
Lady Gaga has gone au naturel for her new role as the face of luxury designer brand Versace, wearing virtually no make-up for the advertising photoshoot. The Applause hitmaker, who is known for her outrageous fashion, make-up and hairstyle choices both on and off the stage, wore her long, blonde hair sleek and straight as she posed for photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggot, modelling the Italian company's finest wares.
The chic commercials, in which Gaga bears a striking resemblance to chief designer Donatella Versace in her youth, aimed to capture her "true beauty and spirit in images that are elegant and alluring".
The Versace boss adds, "She (Gaga) is like family to me, and the embodiment of the Versace DNA."
The photos will appear in the label's 2014 Spring/Summer advertising campaign.
Gaga recently paid homage to her designer pal by penning the track Donatella as a gift for her 58th birthday earlier this year (13). The song appears on the pop superstar's new album, ARTPOP.
Pop superstar Lady Gaga is reportedly set to become the face of Italian luxury brand Versace after writing a song in tribute to the company's chief designer Donatella Versace. The Poker Face hitmaker dedicated a track called Donatella on her new album ARTPOP to her fashion-forward friend, and is now said to have been hired as the star of the brand's 2014 Spring/Summer advertising campaign.
Editors of Wwd.com report Gaga posed for a Versace advertising shoot during a recent trip to London.
The fashion house has yet to confirm the news.
Donatella Versace's representative has dismissed a new TV movie based on a book about the inner-workings of fashion's most famous family as a "work of fiction". Actress Gina Gershon went peroxide blonde to play the flamboyant designer in House of Versace, which chronicles Donatella's efforts to keep the Versace empire together following the death of her brother Gianni in 1997.
The movie will air in America on Lifetime over the weekend (05Oct13), but one person who won't be watching is the fashion maven herself.
Dismissing the project to Women's Wear Daily, a publicist for the brand says, "Versace has neither authorised nor had any involvement whatsoever in the forthcoming TV movie about Mrs. Versace.
"Since Versace did not authorise the book on which it is based, the movie should only be seen as a work of fiction."
Lady Gaga has immortalised fashion icon Donatella Versace in song for her new album Artpop. The pop superstar penned the track Donatella as an ode to her designer pal and gifted it to the 58 year old at a birthday party she threw for the veteran in May (13).
The tune opens with the words, "I'm so fab/Check it out", and goes on to include lines such as, "I'm blonde/ I'm skinny/ I'm rich/ And I'm a little bit of a b**ch" - and Versace can't get enough of it.
She tells Elle magazine, "The best present she could give me. I loved it and couldn't stop dancing. I made her play it again and again. The song is insane, over the top, loud and full of energy - everything that I like."
Actress Gina Gershon was reluctant to portray Donatella Versace onscreen in new TV movie House Of Versace because she feared the fashion designer would be turned into a "flamboyant caricature". The Bound star admits she didn't like the sound of the project when her agents first raised the topic with her, but she was quickly won over after becoming hooked on the script, which chronicles Donatella's efforts to keep the family's fashion empire alive following the death of her brother Gianni in 1997.
She tells U.S. talk show host Katie Couric, "I think because I hadn't read it (the script) yet, and they said, 'Oh, you've been offered Donatella', and I was like, 'There's no way I'm touching that', just because I think, when we think of Donatella, you think, 'Oh, she's so flamboyant, she's a bit of a caricature', but then I read the script and I just thought, it's really a family drama at the end of the day and I found it so compelling, her story, I almost wish it hadn't been her. I was like, 'I'll play this no matter what', because I love the rise and fall and rise..."
The TV film is based on Deborah Ball's book House of Versace: The Untold Story of Genius, Murder, and Survival and will premiere on America's Lifetime channel on 5 October (13).
Rapper M.I.A. has teamed up with designers at luxury label Versace for a new fashion project. The Paper Planes hitmaker, real name Mathangi Arulpragasam, revealed the news while attending Paris Fashion Week's Balenciaga runway show in France on Thursday (26Sep13).
She told WWD.com, "I have a collaboration with Versace coming out in two weeks."
She failed to provide further details about the joint project, but it is believed to be a line for Donatella Versace's diffusion collection Versus, which features work from a number of other artists and designers.
The fashion collaboration will be a welcome distraction for M.I.A. - she is currently embroiled in a nasty legal battle with bosses at America's National Football League (NFL), who are suing the star for flipping her middle finger during her televised performance with Madonna at the 2012 Super Bowl half-time show.
Actress Gina Gershon battled bronchitis after wrapping new TV movie House Of Versace - because she smoked constantly throughout the project. The Bound star portrays chain-smoking fashion designer Donatella Versace in the film and admits she tried everything healthy to perfect her real-life character's nicotine habit - but nothing worked, so she had to smoke for real.
She tells U.S. news show Access Hollywood Live, "They even tried to give me the fake cigarettes because they thought they would be better, but those just killed me... There's so much oil in them.
"So I just started smoking a lot before I went into it, so I could work myself up to it... As soon as it was over, I was like, 'Thank God!', and then I smoked a little bit when I was doing the looping... but I wasn't used to it and I got bronchitis."
"I just watched tons of her videos and interviews... It was important to get to the real person... She's really funny and a smart lady... but I've never met her. We have really good mutual friends and I'm surprised we've never met." Actress Gina Gershon on portraying fashion mogul Donatella Versace in TV movie House of Versace.
Gina Gershon has been cast as fashion mogul Donatella Versace in a new TV movie about the death of her brother. House of Versace will also feature Enrico Colantoni as Gianni Versace and Raquel Welch as the siblings' Aunt Lucia.
The film, which will chronicle Donatella's efforts to keep the family's fashion empire alive following the death of her brother in 1997, will be based on Deborah Ball's book House of Versace: The Untold Story of Genius, Murder, and Survival.
The movie will premiere in the U.S. on 5 October (13).
