Actor Ben Stiller wants supermodel Cara Delevingne to feature in the sequel to Zoolander. The Along Came Polly star has let slip further information on the progress of the much-anticipated second installment of the fashion industry satire.
The first film, released in 2001, featured cameos from fashion heavyweights including Victoria Beckham, Tom Ford, Tommy Hilfiger, Karl Lagerfeld and Donatella Versace, and it is unknown what role Delevingne is being lined up for in the sequel.
Stiller tells MTV, "There is a script, I won't deny there's a script, and there's been a reading of the script... but it hasn't yet been fully formulated... (I) definitely would (like Delevingne to feature)."
Owen Wilson, who starred as Zoolander's rival in the first film, added, "I have seen the script and it seems funny."
Madonna is fronting fashion label Versace's Spring/Summer 2015 campaign. The Material Girl hitmaker was praised by the brand's vice president, Donatella Versace, for being a "role model" and for her "unapologetic" nature.
She has posed in the black and white shots with her blonde hair tousled while scowling at the camera to promote the brand, replacing Lady Gaga as its last celebrity frontwoman.
In a statement, Versace says, "Madonna says it best herself: She is unapologetic. She is her own woman, a role model who shows other women how we can do what we want, and get what we want, and do so for all of our lives, with no compromise."
Madonna caused a stir earlier this week (ends07Dec14) when a series of racy, topless photographs of the 56 year old for Interview Magazine were released.
Birthday boy George Michael has given Mariah Carey his personal seal of approval after the R&B superstar recorded a cover of the British singer's 1988 hit One More Try for her new album. Carey included her rendition of One More Try on her latest release, Me. I Am Mariah... The Elusive Chanteuse, and Michael reached out to the beauty via Twitter.com on Wednesday (25Jun14) to express his delight.
He tweeted, "@MariahCarey thank u (sic) for recording One more try. Such an honour 2 (sic) have one of the best voices in the world singing my song. Gorgeous @MariahCarey ...... PS, love the album! Big kiss, The singing Greek."
The note caught the attention of Carey, who admitted she was flattered by the praise, responding: "@GeorgeMichael I'm so honored u (sic) like my rendition of One More Try. You & this song have always meant so much to me. Fan&friend for life".
She later sent a special message to the veteran singer, who celebrated his 50th birthday on Wednesday, writing, "@GeorgeMichael P.S. Happy birthday!!!!".
Michael's Twitter exchange with Carey occurred just a day after mutual pal Donatella Versace offered up her take on the song in a review for Vogue.com and claimed the Brit would love the cover.
She wrote, "I can't stop listening to Mariah's rendition of One More Try. George Michael is a great friend and one of my favourite artists, so I never think that anyone can do justice to his music. But I feel that Mariah really understands every word that he has written. At times her voice is angelic, at times pleading and then, towards the end, it goes into a crescendo reaching amazing heights. I'm sure that George would be very proud of Mariah's version of his much-loved song."
Oscar winner Lupita Nyong'o turned heads at the 2014 Costume Institute Gala in New York on Monday (05Apr14) as she arrived in a feathery mesh design from Prada. The 12 Years a Slave star, who last month (Apr14) was named People magazine's Most Beautiful woman, topped off her latest red carpet outfit for this year's fashion Oscars with a jewelled headband.
Early arrivals at the annual Metropolitan Museum of Art bash included John Legend and his model wife Chrissy Teigen in Ralph Lauren Collection, Latina stars Jessica Alba and Selena Gomez both in Diane Von Furstenberg and Jessica Pare and Zoe Saldana in Michael Kors. Fashion icon Sarah Jessica Parker was stunning as always in a flowing Oscar De La Renta gown, while Nicole Richie and Rita Ora both opted for edgy DKNY designs.
Other fashionable attendees at this year's Met Gala included Anna Kendrick, Rachel McAdams, Suki Waterhouse, Hailee Steinfeld, Dakota Johnson and Kylie Minogue. Meanwhile, British singer Lily Allen, who wore a flattering silver and grey Chanel Couture gown to the fashion world's big night, made the most of her evening with the stars, snapping selfies with the likes of Kanye West, Kim Kardashian, Ora and designer Donatella Versace and posting the photos on her Instagram.com page.
Since social media has basically eviscerated the definition of privacy, it's become much easier to track the personal lives of celebrities based on what they put up on their Twitters and Instagrams, including who they keep company with. While some stars keep their personal lives personal, other stars love to share their exploits with the people they're close with, whether those people are real life BFFs or online BFFs (or, in Zac Efron's case, a photoshop BFF). From Ian Somerhalder's cute son (i.e. his cat) to Aaron Paul's Heisenberg-reminiscing, here's a look at some of the people that celebs love to post themselves online with.

Is Gaga turning into Donatella or vice versa? More importantly, why is Gaga serving up Ariel from The Little Mermaid realness by combing her hair with a fork? (My apologies if that is an actual dinglehopper.)

The cast of That Awkward Moment has awesome chemistry on and off the screen, but Zac Efron clearly only has eyes for the dog he's making out with on Un Nuevo Dia.

According to the caption, Ian Somerhalder's furry friend is more his son than his BFF. That's nice. Can we talk about how the cat is literally burrowing his way into Ian's butt, though?
Lady Gaga has gone au naturel for her new role as the face of luxury designer brand Versace, wearing virtually no make-up for the advertising photoshoot. The Applause hitmaker, who is known for her outrageous fashion, make-up and hairstyle choices both on and off the stage, wore her long, blonde hair sleek and straight as she posed for photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggot, modelling the Italian company's finest wares.
The chic commercials, in which Gaga bears a striking resemblance to chief designer Donatella Versace in her youth, aimed to capture her "true beauty and spirit in images that are elegant and alluring".
The Versace boss adds, "She (Gaga) is like family to me, and the embodiment of the Versace DNA."
The photos will appear in the label's 2014 Spring/Summer advertising campaign.
Gaga recently paid homage to her designer pal by penning the track Donatella as a gift for her 58th birthday earlier this year (13). The song appears on the pop superstar's new album, ARTPOP.
Pop superstar Lady Gaga is reportedly set to become the face of Italian luxury brand Versace after writing a song in tribute to the company's chief designer Donatella Versace. The Poker Face hitmaker dedicated a track called Donatella on her new album ARTPOP to her fashion-forward friend, and is now said to have been hired as the star of the brand's 2014 Spring/Summer advertising campaign.
Editors of Wwd.com report Gaga posed for a Versace advertising shoot during a recent trip to London.
The fashion house has yet to confirm the news.
Donatella Versace's representative has dismissed a new TV movie based on a book about the inner-workings of fashion's most famous family as a "work of fiction". Actress Gina Gershon went peroxide blonde to play the flamboyant designer in House of Versace, which chronicles Donatella's efforts to keep the Versace empire together following the death of her brother Gianni in 1997.
The movie will air in America on Lifetime over the weekend (05Oct13), but one person who won't be watching is the fashion maven herself.
Dismissing the project to Women's Wear Daily, a publicist for the brand says, "Versace has neither authorised nor had any involvement whatsoever in the forthcoming TV movie about Mrs. Versace.
"Since Versace did not authorise the book on which it is based, the movie should only be seen as a work of fiction."
Lady Gaga has immortalised fashion icon Donatella Versace in song for her new album Artpop. The pop superstar penned the track Donatella as an ode to her designer pal and gifted it to the 58 year old at a birthday party she threw for the veteran in May (13).
The tune opens with the words, "I'm so fab/Check it out", and goes on to include lines such as, "I'm blonde/ I'm skinny/ I'm rich/ And I'm a little bit of a b**ch" - and Versace can't get enough of it.
She tells Elle magazine, "The best present she could give me. I loved it and couldn't stop dancing. I made her play it again and again. The song is insane, over the top, loud and full of energy - everything that I like."
Actress Gina Gershon was reluctant to portray Donatella Versace onscreen in new TV movie House Of Versace because she feared the fashion designer would be turned into a "flamboyant caricature". The Bound star admits she didn't like the sound of the project when her agents first raised the topic with her, but she was quickly won over after becoming hooked on the script, which chronicles Donatella's efforts to keep the family's fashion empire alive following the death of her brother Gianni in 1997.
She tells U.S. talk show host Katie Couric, "I think because I hadn't read it (the script) yet, and they said, 'Oh, you've been offered Donatella', and I was like, 'There's no way I'm touching that', just because I think, when we think of Donatella, you think, 'Oh, she's so flamboyant, she's a bit of a caricature', but then I read the script and I just thought, it's really a family drama at the end of the day and I found it so compelling, her story, I almost wish it hadn't been her. I was like, 'I'll play this no matter what', because I love the rise and fall and rise..."
The TV film is based on Deborah Ball's book House of Versace: The Untold Story of Genius, Murder, and Survival and will premiere on America's Lifetime channel on 5 October (13).
