Ben Affleck, Matt Damon and Jennifer Aniston were among the stars who turned out for the wedding of U.S. talk show host Jimmy Kimmel on Saturday (13Jul13). The Jimmy Kimmel Live! presenter exchanged vows with partner Molly McNearney in Ojai, California, and several of his famous friends were in attendance.
Affleck's wife Jennifer Garner also attended, as did Damon's partner Luciana, and Aniston was escorted to the bash by her fiance Justin Theroux.
Ellen DeGeneres and Portia De Rossi, and Emily Blunt and John Krasinski were also there to toast the happy couple.
Kimmel and McNearney marked their impending nuptials on Friday (12Jul13) with a star-studded rehearsal dinner, according to UsMagazine.com.
Kimmel was previously married for 14 years and has two children from the relationship.
Leonardo DiCaprio, Ben Affleck, Ricky Martin and Nick Jonas were among the stars celebrating on Wednesday (26Jun13) after two landmark rulings in support of gay marriage were made by officials in the U.S. Supreme Court. Lawmakers in Washington, D.C. struck down a key part of the controversial Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA), which prevented married same-sex couples from obtaining the same access to benefits under federal law as all other husband and wife unions, insisting the legislation violated gays and lesbians' rights to liberty and equal protection.
Supreme Court judges also declared California's Proposition 8 bill, which outlawed same-sex marriage in the state in 2008, unconstitutional - and celebrities have been quick to celebrate the big news via Twitter.com.
In a post online, DiCaprio writes, "Historic day. Well done SCOTUS (Supreme Court of the United States)", while openly-gay singer Martin tweets, "PROP8 IS GONE! DOMA IS GONE! LoveIsLove (sic)".
The Avengers star Mark Ruffalo posts, "Congratulations everyone! Love wins over bigotry! ...Defense of marriage falls! We chose love over hate!", while Jonas writes, "We are all equal and have the right to love. So proud to be an American" and Affleck adds: "Big news from the Supreme Court. Goodbye DOMA Prop8. Hello equality."
Gay comedienne Ellen DeGeneres, who used a legal window to wed her partner Portia de Rossi in 2008, Lea Michele, Demi Lovato, Kelly Osbourne, Sophia Bush, Neil Patrick Harris, Mia Farrow, Mandy Moore, Gilles Marini, Kevin Bacon and Pink also expressed their joy at the huge headlines, while Kristen Bell, who famously insisted she would not wed her fiance Dax Shepard until her gay pals could legally wed, tweeted her partner with the message: "will you marry me? marriageequality loveislove (sic)".
Bell and Shepard, who recently became first-time parents to daughter Lincoln, have been engaged since 2010.
Shepard replied, "DOMA is dead. Prop 8 is dead. Now let's bring my big, gay marriage to @IMKristenBell to Life!!!!"
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie also famously declared they would not wed until gay marriage was legal.
Oscar winner Anne Hathaway, Peter Dinklage, Bill Clinton and vegan mums Jenna Dewan-Tatum and Kristen Bell are on the shortlist for PETA's annual Sexiest Vegetarian Celebrity. The stars will be up against Portia De Rossi, Casey Affleck, Dax Shepard, Rooney Mara and Edie Falco when the new king and queen of meat-free diets are crowned later this month (27Jun13).
Fans can cast their votes at PETA.org.
Previous winners of PETA's Sexiest Vegetarian Celebrity title include Woody Harrelson, Jessica Chastain, Kristen Wiig, Russell Brand, Olivia Wilde, Carrie Underwood, Prince and Natalie Portman.
Comedienne Ellen Degeneres and her actress wife Portia De Rossi have placed their Beverly Hills penthouse up for sale. The stars, who have built up an impressive property portfolio over the years, purchased the luxury apartment in 2010 for $835,000 (£538,710) and are now trying to offload it for $899,000 (£580,000).
Jennifer Aniston teamed up with her father, soap star John Aniston, for a TV skit on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Wednesday (22May13). The former Friends star was co-hosting the show with her comedienne pal and agreed to take part in Ellen's spoof daytime drama The Tales of Yesterday's Tomorrows - as French maid Janette. The friends were also joined by DeGeneres' wife Portia de Rossi.
"We move a lot and that was a little tricky to get used to... We've had nine houses in eight-and-a-half years... Now when I put things away I always think about how easy it's gonna be to, like, collect it all back up again and stick it in a box." Actress Portia De Rossi on moving house with her wife Ellen DeGeneres.
Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox and Matthew Perry staged a hilarious mini-Friends reunion for mutual pal Ellen Degeneres' U.S. talk show. Aniston, who co-hosted Wednesday's (22May13) programme with the comedienne, showed up unannounced at Perry's home to ask for advice from the actor, who recently joined DeGeneres as a presenter.
Referring to her former TV comedy castmate as David - a reference to their co-star David Schwimmer, Aniston said, "I just don't know as many dumb jokes as you."
Perry scolded his old pal for turning up on his doorstep at 8am, insisting she should call first, and reminded her that they're no longer Friends, stating, "We haven't actually seen each other in a really long time, like, eight years."
Adding to the tense stand-off, Cox appeared at the door, pretending she had spent the night with Perry and then referred to her real-life best pal Aniston as Lisa - mixing her up with another castmate, Lisa Kudrow.
Cox stormed off in mock disgust as Perry pretended to hit on Aniston and the skit ended with DeGeneres crawling past Perry and her wife Portia DeRossi dashing out of his apartment as the actor screamed, "LeBlanc, get out of the fountain, man."
Matt LeBlanc was the sixth member of the Friends cast.
On Wednesday's episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Aniston admitted she missed working with "Matty and Court" and the skit they filmed together made her "very nostalgic".
She added, "It's a great thing to go back to your family like that. Also, I know that people will love it."
As we saw in the first trailer for the upcoming Netflix season of Arrested Development, not a lot has changed for the Bluth and Fünke families. Sure, George Michael is a bit taller, and there seems to be a prevalence of exotic birds haunting the model home. But moreover, Season 4 looks like business as usual. Which is a great, great thing. On Monday night, series star Portia de Rossi graced Late Night with Jimmy Fallon viewers with a clip depicting her character, Lindsay, and her TV family, Tobias (David Cross) and Maeby (Alia Shawkat), matching wits with a real estate agent, played by returning guest star Ed Helms.
Upholding an old Fünke tradition, Lindsay and Tobias get so ensconced in their self-serving habits that they seem to forget entirely about one particularly significant element in their lives: their daughter. But don't worry, she's used to it. Check out the clip below, and gear up for the new Arrested Development episodes on May 26.

Britney Spears is holed up in a top Los Angeles hotel after she was forced to evacuate her southern California home due to raging wildfires. The pop superstar's mansion in Calabasas was at risk from the brush-fuelled flames which have been spreading throughout the area and authorities put residents in her neighbourhood on standby to leave their properties last week (ends03May13) as they tried to contain the blaze.
She was still spotted in Calabasas on Friday (03May13), but it appears she's since decided to pack up and move with her two young sons.
A source tells the New York Post's Page Six column, "Britney and her children had to leave her house last week because of the fire scare. They are all safe and staying at the Four Seasons."
The Toxic hitmaker isn't the only celebrity whose home was endangered by the blaze - comedienne Ellen DeGeneres and her actress wife Portia De Rossi's farm in nearby Ventura County came close to being burned to the ground over the weekend (04-05May13), but firefighters managed to save the property from any damage. The couple expressed its gratitude by giving 16 firefighters a place to stay for the night.
The Bluth family: mostly narcissists, occasionally terrible, 100 percent entertaining. But just because we love to watch our favorite Arrested Development family screw each other over on screen doesn't mean they'd be fun to hang out with off screen. With that in mind, Hollywood.com hit up the red (well, orange) carpet premiere of the show's new Netflix season to see what some of the Bluths' closest friends (and even some Bluths) had to say about which family member they'd actually want to hang out with in real life.
Hey, it beats trying to pry plot details out of a cast who are just as big fans of their show as the rest of the Internet (and therefore do not want to spoil even the tiniest bit of it). Here's what we found out:
Jeffrey Tambor, a.k.a. Bluth family patriarch George Sr., went with the obvious choice: "George, because I am George!"
His on-screen adopted son, Annyong, played by Justin Lee, went with his sibling. "Ok, let’s see here — Gob. I love magic. I love, love, love magic." Excuse us, youngest Bluth? We think you mean illusions. "I love illusions! You got me there," Lee admitted.
Newest guest star Terry Crews cheated a little and picked his favorite off-screen cast member — "Portia De Rossi, Lindsay. We had a good relationship on the set." — while Judy Greer, better known as secretary Kitty, who has romanced many Bluth men, gets a little more philosophical. "Oh man! That’s a good question," she said as she pondered her decision. "Ahhh, George Michael. Because he is the youngest so I could probably hang out with him the longest."
Which Bluth family member would you be friends with in real life?
