Rapper 2 Chainz was forced to cancel his album listening party in New York on Thursday night (22Aug13) after he was caught up in a police stand-off in Oklahoma. Cops in Oklahoma City pulled over the star's tour bus on Wednesday night (21Aug13) after spotting a broken tail light. After the driver refused to allow them entry to search the vehicle for drugs, he was arrested, but officers still couldn't inspect it as the star had locked the door from the inside.
The bus was then towed to a nearby police station, where the 11 people on board were booked on obstruction charges. Police also reportedly found narcotics on the bus, but did not know who they belonged to.
The group was released on Thursday after paying $2,000 (£1,333) bail, but despite rushing back to the Big Apple, 2 Chainz had to scrap the planned Conde Nast Bon Appetit party, which was arranged to promote his new record B.O.A.T.S. II: Me Time, as well as the album's accompanying cook book.
After the run-in with the law, 2 Chainz took to Twitter.com to bemoan his treatment at the hand of cops, writing, "Don't ask me ask OKC (Oklahoma City) police department what they found on the bus - u won't get an answer because nuthn (nothing) was found (sic). This s**t will make u go crazy, our bus gets pulled 1 a week and they always say I smell weed I need to search ur bus. S**t gets tiring."
The Twins star is indulging his love of terrifying movies by launching a new website, TheBloodFactory.com, to showcase short slasher films.
And to promote the project, he has shot a spoof horror movie scene - showing workers at a studio eating him alive.
DeVito's head and torso are served up on a platter as part of a buffet, and as he addresses the camera to discuss his website, a man rips the skin off the actor's face and puts it in a sandwich.
As other guests prepare to tuck in, DeVito yells: "There's plenty for everybody. Bon appetit. Save me a bite!"
The film has been posted online ahead of DeVito's appearance at the Comic-Con convention in San Diego, California, which begins on Thursday (22Jul10).
