"I could only hope and pray that I could have a career like MARK WAHLBERG." TWILIGHT hunk KELLAN LUTZ wants to emulate the Hollywood star's career success after following in his footsteps by becoming a Calvin Klein underwear model.
Lutz, who started out as a model for American clothing brand Abercrombie & Fitch before pursuing a career in acting, was unveiled as the face and body of Calvin Klein Underwear last year (09).
He admits he had to work hard to tone up his stomach and leg muscles so he could look his best in the revealing adverts, telling the New York Times, "You have to look like you enjoy what you're selling. It doesn't look that hard, but a lot of people don't think about what goes into it."
But the movie vampire's hard work has paid off - and he's happy to receive compliments for the sexy billboards, which have been erected in and around Los Angeles and New York.
He says, "I won't lie about it. I started getting text messages and calls from producers, and when I went into meetings for scripts, people were always commenting on the billboard and asking for pictures for their daughters."
Lutz's Calvin Klein adverts come almost 20 years after Mark Wahlberg stripped off for a similar campaign as the brand's spokesmodel.
The Inglorious Basterds star began her career as a model but quit the runway to pursue her acting dreams almost 10 years ago.
She decided to go back to in front of the camera last year (Dec09) after landing a major campaign for cosmetics giant L'Oreal - and now she's building up her modelling portfolio with the new Klein deal.
Kruger will appear in TV and print advertisements when the perfume launches this autumn (10).
Liliana dalla Piana quit her job as an aide to the Forgetting Sarah Marshall star after he constantly walked around his home in his underwear.
And Piana has issued a stark warning to any future employee of Brand's.
She tells Britain's People newspaper, "Russell was very, very high maintenance. He used to walk around in his underpants. Calvin Klein boxers might have done it for me, but Y-fronts certainly didn't."
"Some things I was asked to do were nearly impossible. I've worked for Michael Flatley and Harvey Goldsmith but Russell was by far the most demanding. He does go through a lot of personal assistants, I think some have even had mental breakdowns."
The accolade, established in 1988 in honour of A Chorus Line lyricist Edward Kleban, awards $100,000 (£62,500) to one lyricist and one librettist.
The American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) will laud Mills - whose credits include Golden Boy of the Blue Ridge and The Pursuit of Persephone - for lyric writing; meanwhile Wyner, who wrote the music, lyrics and book for Calvin Berger, has won the prize for book writing.
Previous winners include Shrek the Musical's David Lindsay Abaire, Parade's Jason Robert Brown and Avenue Q's Jeff Marx and Robert Lopez.
The awards will be handed out by ASCAP bosses on 21 June (10), reports Daily Variety.
The British runway beauty frolicked naked in the sea for photographer Mario Sorrenti's titillating shots, which will appear in top men's fashion publication Vogue Hommes.
It's not the first time Moss has worked with Sorrenti - he helped to launch her career by photographing her for the iconic Calvin Klein Obsession ads, for which she also disrobed.
Lutz, who plays vampire Emmet Cullen in the hit movie franchise, is the latest Hollywood hunk stripped bare for the fashion house's underwear campaign.
And Reed, who plays his on-screen sister Rosalie, is proud of her pal's sexy shots.
She tells E! Online, "I think he looks fantastic. I'm actually really proud of him.
"It takes a lot of balls, no pun intended, to stand and pose like that. I wouldn't have the guts to stand there naked like that."
Lutz recently revealed he wanted to follow in the footsteps of Mark Wahlberg - whose famed Calvin Klein underwear campaign in the '90s led to a huge film career.
"It didn't go too well. She didn't like him at all. He was a pleasure. I have worked with so many women, great ones, and Kate was always difficult." Fashion designer CALVIN KLEIN admits a 1990s photoshoot with KATE MOSS and MARK WAHLBERG was disastrous.
Sexy EVA MENDES is to launch a new line of crockery inspired by her Latino roots. The enterprising actress and Calvin Klein model has already branched out with her own luxury bedding range. Mendes' new Vida For Espana tabletop collection will debut at Macy's stores across America next month (Feb10).
The star started out as a model for American clothing brand Abercrombie & Fitch before pursuing a career in acting and shooting to fame as vampire Emmett Cullen in the hit movie franchise.
Now Calvin Klein underwear bosses want to cash in on the 24 year old's rising popularity and have reportedly signed Lutz up to front their next advertising campaign.
And fashion insiders claim Lutz's photoshoot will be reminiscent of the sexy ads featuring Mark Wahlberg, which were shot in the 1990s during the actor's transition from rap alter ego Marky Mark to Hollywood star.
A source tells the Fox News 411 blog, "He's going to be their new Mark Wahlberg. Kellan has been signed to Calvin Klein for a huge campaign that will feature him in his skivvies (underwear) all over billboards and in magazines…
"The executives have a plan to model the ads very similarly after the famous Mark Wahlberg campaign in the '90s. They want to recreate the look of the hugely successful ads."
