Lindsay Lohan, Lily Allen and Kylie Minogue were among the stars who turned out to help British rocker Noel Gallagher celebrate his birthday at a party in London on Thursday night (29May14). The former Oasis star turned 47 on Thursday and he spent his big day in the studio working on new music.
In the evening, he hosted a star-studded party at London hot spot Chiltern Firehouse for celebrity guests including Hollywood actress Lohan, who was spotted leaving the bash with a mystery man in the early hours of Friday morning (30May14).
Other attendees included pop stars Allen and Minogue, Black Eyed Peas rapper will.i.am, fashion designer Stella McCartney, Kasabian rocker Sergio Pizzorno, and model-turned-actress Suki Waterhouse.
British rockers Kasabian are set to celebrate their 10-year anniversary by performing a homecoming gig in Leicester, England next year (14). The band will perform at their hometown's Victoria Park on 21 June (14) to mark 10 years since they released their self-titled debut album in 2004.
Guitarist Sergio Pizzorno tells the Leicester Mercury, "It feels like it was just meant to be. It's going to be the 10-year anniversary of the first album, so it feels right. It feels like we've been building up to this since the start. We're so excited. Hopefully the whole city will come alive."
Pizzorno also hopes the band's success will inspire local youths to pursue careers in music, adding, "We really want to do something to inspire the next generation of kids. If you're a kid and you see a band from down the road play a big gig in your city. I hope that's inspiring. We had to travel round the country to see the bands we liked when we were young, so it's great to be able to do this."
Kasabian star Sergio Pizzorno shuns the rock 'n' roll lifestyle when he returns home from touring with the band and embraces gardening instead. The British rocker has revealed he has become green-fingered in his spare time and now grows vegetables in an allotment garden.
Speaking to Pete Donaldson and Sarah Champion of Britain's Absolute Radio station at the London Hard Rock Calling music festival, he says, "I like getting home for about two weeks and then (I) go back in the studio and start working. I'm always in the studio at home and also looking after the allotment, you know, watching out for the runner beans and tomatoes."
Kasabian rocker Sergio Pizzorno is celebrating after becoming a father for the second time. The guitarist's wife Amy has given birth to a baby boy named Lucio, according to British newspaper The Sun on Sunday.
Pizzorno has not yet commented on the news, but Kasabian fans have flooded the band's official Twitter.com page with messages of congratulations.
The new arrival will be a little brother to the couple's two-year-old son Ennio Silva.
