Where Did Your Favorite ’90s Heartthrobs Wind Up?

Andrew Keegan

Back then, Andrew Keegan was the really hot guy who knew he was pretty and hot, and totally could play the asshole (cue hating him in 10 Things I Hate About You). He never stopped acting, and he's still pretty good looking, but he might have fallen off your radar in the early 00's. Nowadays, he has had a handful of roles on different CSI shows.

Jonathan Taylor Thomas

Jonathan Taylor Thomas, JTT. The golden-haired king of Home Improvement. We saw such big things for you. But, he basically dropped off the face of the earth after 2006 and didn't resurface until last year, when he reunited with Tim Allen, on Last Man Standing. It's a tiny role, which he's played 3 times over the 2013-2014 season, but it's nice to know he's still cute and at least doing something, since the boy isn't on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Vine, or anything to keep us posted on his day-to-day life.

Joey and Matthew Lawrence

The Lawrence brothers (minus brother Andy who was too young to be a heartthrob in the 90's) were so hot. And thank god, they still are. Matthew is the hotter one now that Joey has gone and cut his famous hair off. But, they're both still working, Joey teaming up with Melissa Joan Hart and making everyone laugh on ABC Family. Obviously Matthew had to join in on the fun and has very recently appeared on Melissa & Joey a few times as you guessed it...Joey's brother. We're happy some things will never change.

Devon Sawa

When Devon Sawa was killed off between Final Destination movies, we were all pretty upset to see him go. He hasn't stopped acting since then, but for a while he wasn't doing much more than making appearances, until he became a series regular on Nikita. Now he's got 4 films set for release in 2015 that we can all look forward to.

James Van Der Beek

Can we all agree that Van Der Beek is so much hotter now than he was on Dawson's Creek? Time has been kind to this man's face. He hasn't had the same level of success since the Creek ended, having had two shows (Don't Trust The B---- In Apartment 23 and Friends With Better Lives) come to life and then fall off just a quickly. But, nothing is stopping James. He's happily married now, with 3 children, and has a pretty awesome website where he makes fun of himself and puts great use to internet memes.

Joshua Jackson

Were you like us, drawing Pacey Witter in hearts all over your notebooks? Don't lie, you were. Joshua Jackson was really cute in the first Mighty Ducks then progressively got hot the older he was. He's still so good looking, but he's off the market (thanks a lot Diane Kruger). He's been doing pretty well for himself these days, he starred on Fringe for almost 6 years. Now you'll be able to see him on The Affair on Showtime.

The Hanson brothers took the world by storm with "MMMBop" in the late 90's. It's crazy to think those 3 blonde brothers are all adults and married with children now. But, what's nice to know is that they're still close and making music together as Hanson.

Kirk Cameron

Kirk Cameron was so cute back in his Growing Pains days, who didn't love him?! Nowadays, he's still a good looking guy, but he might not be everyone's taste anymore. He's a very active evangelical Christian and he is very vocal about his not-so-commonly shared opinions. For those of you who might have forgotten, he married his Growing Pains co-star Chelsea Noble (his sister on the show) and they have 6 children together, 4 adopted and 2 biological.

Freddie Prinze Jr, was all that in the 90’s (pun intended). We fell for him during I know What You Did Last Summer and continued to love him through the years. Now, he’s still happily married to his Scooby Doo and IKWYDLS co-star Sarah Michelle Gellar. He recently made a comeback, appearing shirtless and still hot on Witches of East End and is filming for a show to release in 2015.

Erik von Detten

Erik von Detten isn't shredding anymore or stealing hearts. Since his Brink! days, he's slowly trickled off the radar. He's had a few television guest starring roles, and even voiced Sid in Toy Story 3 back in 2010, but hasn't been in anything since then. He's still managed to keep his perfect SoCal hair after all these years and for that, we're very happy.

Leonardo DiCaprio

In the 90’s, Leo was basically a god. With his beautiful face, lovely blonde hair, and immense talent, everyone was in love with him. If you weren’t, did you not see Titanic? What a shame. Nowadays, Leo is still obviously acting (but has yet to win the Oscar her deserves) but is also a very vocal activist, recently marching in New York on climate control. Not quite the heartthrob we once loved, but still cute.

Luke Perry is 47 now. Jason Priestley is 45. Time has been a good friend to Jason, it hasn't been as nice to Luke. Both men have continued acting, but Jason has seen more success outside of Beverly Hills, 90210 than Luke, most recently starring in the show Call Me Fitz.

Ryan Phillippe

Ryan Phillippe was the epitome of hottness in Cruel Intentions. He even made our hearts happy when he married Reese Witherspoon, but then that ended and we were all sad about it. He's still acting now and active on Twitter, where he tweets things that make you question if it's really him or not.
14
Mario Lopez

Gone are the days of A.C. Slater and his curly hair and big biceps. Honestly, Mario is another one on this list who looks much better now than he did back then. He's well-groomed, with the best dimples in the business. He's also made a name for himself as a TV host, hosting various different shows, Extra being his home. But he also worked on America's Best Dance Crew and The X Factor as a host.

Mark Paul Gosselaar

No matter what Gosselaar does, he will always be Zach Morris to us. He was the best part about Saved By The Bell and his female co-stars knew that, since all 3 dated him at one point or another. He's less teen hottie now, but still very attractive, which means of course he's dating and has kids. You can ignore that and watch him on TNT on his show Franklin & Bash.

Rider Strong

If you weren't in love with Shawn Hunter on Boy Meets World then you are a liar. His hair was perfect. He had the kind of bay boy attitude that made him seem cool, yet approachable. He was also 1/2 of one of our favorite bromances ever. Nowadays, Rider still hangs out with his BMW friends and will apparently be in an episode of it's spinoff Girl Meets World,. While you're watching reruns and waiting for that appearance to happen on Disney, you can tweet him. He answers or RT's fans pretty often on Twitter.

You haven't forgotten these guys. But did you know when Kevin left the band in 2006, he appeared in Chicago on Broadway? He didn't join the band again until 2008, and not fully until 2011. The other four have been going strong this whole time (minus the brief hiatus in the earl 00's), thought A.J. has had a handful of stints in rehab over the years. Now, the boys of BSB have hooked up with New Kids On The Block countless times for tours and performances, making every 80/90's child dreams come true. Unsurprisingly, all these men are married and off the market.

NSYNC: Justin, JC, Chris, Joey, and Lance

Unlike basically every other boy band ever, NSYNC is not back together and touring. They briefly made the world happy again by reuniting during Justin's 2013 VMA performance, but it's pretty set in stone that they're not getting back together. Justin is a megastar these days, while the rest of the guys are still enjoying the star life, just not quite to the same degree. Lance hosts a radio show and is currently engaged! Joey Fatone is the announcer on Family Fued and guest host at The Price Is Right Live! at Bally's Las Vegas. Chris has got some good jokes on Twitter. JC has produced an all-girl music group as of 2012 and this year will star in the North American tour of Jesus Christ Superstar.

Jeremy Jackson

Jeremy Jackson was Hobie on Baywatch, a role he apparently beat out Leonardo DiCaprio for (Leo's career isn't hurting from that). Seems as Jeremy is not up to much acting these days, but is getting into fights with Paris Hilton's little brother.

Barry Watson

Wow. Age is just a number. Barry looks MUCH better now. It's kind of hard to top the kind of success he had on 7th Heaven, but he hasn't given up on acting yet. After a few smaller roles on The CW shows, you can now see him in this season of Masters of Sex.

John Stamos

John Stamos is still a heartthrob. He's the hottest uncle to ever exist. He's been on our TV screens for the last 25 years basically, and even now you most commonly see him in a Dannon Greek Yogurt commercial, you know who he is. It was reported that he's pushing for a Full House revival after the success of other show's.

Ricky Martin

Unsurprisingly, Ricky Martin is still going strong with his music. He has sold over 85 million albums and had 95 platinum records. Since garnering his huge amount of success, Martin came out in 2010, "I am proud to say that I am a fortunate homosexual man. I am very blessed to be who I am," posted on his website.

Even 98 Degrees reunited (COME ON NYSNC!) last year. In 2012, the Lachey brothers said they would do a 1 time performance and that turned into a 2013 album, 2.0 and a North American tour with Boyz II Men and New Kids On The Block. Of the group members, Nick has stayed in the spotlight most, first with his marriage-then-divorce to Jessica Simpson, his two solo albums, and then his relationship with now-wife Vanessa Minnillo.

Ryan Merriman

So Ryan Merriman was the guy you crushed on really hard and would have totally dated when you were in junior high, had you the opportunity. Even when he was a leprechaun in the goofy Luck Of The Irish. So when he showed up on Pretty Little Liars, in 2010 as a total creep, you probably had a bit of an existential crisis like we did.
