Biography

Aaron Lustig is a character actor who has had more than 100 roles during decades of work in the industry, primarily on television. In the 1980s, Lustig made an appearance on the drama classic "The Days and Nights of Molly Dodd" and, on the other end of the spectrum, appeared on an episode of the prime-time soap "Dallas" in '89. The '90s were an especially prolific decade for Lustig, including everything from two episodes on the legal drama "L.A. Law," an episode each on the sitcoms "Coach," "Married with Children," and "Mad About You," and a brief turn as a psychologist in Tim Burton's dark fantastical comedy "Edward Scissorhands." In '95, Lustig landed a role that has become something of his bread-and-butter, as a doctor, on four episodes of the classic crime drama "NYPD Blue." After several more appearances on sitcoms in the late '90s--including "Will & Grace," "Ally McBeal," and "3rd Rock from the Sun" (on the latter again as a doctor)--Lustig was cast in the steady part of Dr. Timothy Reid on the successful soap opera "The Bold and the Beautiful," where he appeared on more than 30 episodes, and he would reprise the role in 2002 on the soap "The Young and the Restless." Lustig continued to remain busy over the remainder of the decade, with more roles as a doctor, including in the satiric indie hit "Thank You for Smoking" in '05, and then again on the crime series "NCIS: Naval Criminal Investigative Service" in 2010.
