Beastie Boys, RIP Adam YauchThe music world was shattered today when Beastie Boys member Adam Yauch, also known as MCA, lost his long battle with cancer at the age of 47. While fans begin to mourn a legend lost, some famous names took to Twitter to share their tributes to Yauch. 

Russell Simmons, whose music site Global Grind broke the news about Yauch’s passing, tweeted a sweet farewell to his longtime friend: “Adam was incredibly sweet and the most sensitive artist who I loved dearly. I was always inspired by his work. He will be missed by all of us.”
