Biography

Actress Aimee Teegarden is best known as Julie Taylor on the popular NBC drama "Friday Night Lights". She made her television debut in 2003 with a small role on the police procedural"Cold Case" and would go on to snare roles on the fantasy series "Legend of the Seeker", the family comedy "Hannah Montana", and the teen drama "90210". She's also developed a steady modeling career, and has appeared in campaigns for Hollister, Nike, K-Swiss, Old Navy, and Alltel. In 2006, she was cast as good girl Julie on the drama about high school football in a Texas town, "Friday Night Lights". Teegarden has built her good girl reputation in her personal life as well, being an admitted member of Job's Daughters International, a Masonic-sponsored religious youth group. In 2008, she was dubbed an Honorary Sweetheart of DeMolay International, a similar group for boys and young men. In 2011, Teegarden made progress in her big screen career, playing a supporting part in the latest installment in Wes Craven's horror franchise, "Scream 4", and taking the lead in "Prom", a Disney drama in which she plays an overachieving class president and head planner for the big dance who falls for the school rebel.
