Biography

Alan Jordan was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. He had an early role on the television special "African Journey" (PBS, 1989-1990). He also was featured in the miniseries "Echoes in the Darkness" (1987-88). Jordan started in the industry by acting in films like the comedy "A New Life" (1988) with Alan Alda. He additionally landed roles in the TV movies "Murder in Space" (1984-85), "In Like Flynn" (ABC, 1985-86) and "Sorry, Wrong Number" (USA, 1989-1990). He also landed a role in the miniseries "Woman on the Run: The Lawrencia Bembenek Story" (1992-93). He also worked in television around this time, including a part on "The Great Defender" (Fox, 1994-95). He also starred in the TV movies "The Keys" (NBC, 1991-92) and "End of Summer" (Showtime, 1996-97). His career progressed to film, including a role in the Maury Chaykin dramatic adaptation "Whale Music" (1995). He also appeared in the Eddie Murphy comedic drama "Holy Man" (1998). He also was featured in the TV movies "The Conspiracy of Fear" (1996-97), "When Innocence Is Lost" (Lifetime, 1996-97) and "Lethal Vows" (CBS, 1999-2000). He also appeared in "Out of the Ashes" (Showtime, 2002-03). Most recently, Jordan appeared in "Hustle: The Pete Rose Story" (ESPN Network, 2004-05).
