Albert Remy worked in a variety of genres and built up a diverse and reputable career. Remy began his acting career with roles in such films as the musical "French Can-Can" (1955) with Jean Gabin, the Jean Gabin crime adaptation "Razzia" (1957) and the dramatic adaptation "The Hunchback of Notre Dame" (1957) with Gina Lollobrigida. He also appeared in the Jean-Pierre Léaud drama "The 400 Blows" (1959) and "Shoot the Piano Player" (1960) with Charles Aznavour. He continued to work steadily in film throughout the sixties, appearing in "Gigot" (1962), the Glenn Ford dramatic adaptation "The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse" (1962) and the drama "Tomorrow Is My Turn" (1962) with Charles Azanavour. He also appeared in "Mata Hari, Agent H-21" (1964). During the latter half of his career, he tackled roles in the Jean-Paul Belmondo dramatic adaptation "Week-End a Zuydcoote" (1964), the action movie "The Train" (1965) with Burt Lancaster and "Grand Prix" (1966) with James Garner. He also appeared in "Crime and Punishment." Remy also acted in "Lafayette."
