Alexis Arquette died of heart attack

Actress Alexis Arquette passed away from a heart attack.
The Wedding Singer star died on 11 September (16) at the age of 47, and according to her death certificate obtained by Entertainment Tonight, her immediate cause of death was cardiac arrest, but she had suffered from a bacterial infection of the heart three weeks prior.
The documents also reveal Arquette had been battling HIV for the past 29 years, and it was noted as an underlying cause of her death.
Arquette, who had transitioned into a female in the early 2000s, is listed as a male on the death certificate and her full name, Robert Alexis Arquette, was also used in the paperwork, according to ET.
Her siblings, David, Patricia, Rosanna and Richmond Arquette, released a statement shortly after news of Alexis’ passing hit headlines, calling her “more than a sibling” and “our great teacher”, adding, “As Alexis transitioned into being a woman, she taught us tolerance and acceptance. As she moved through her process, she became our sister, teaching us what real love is.”
