Amanda Bynes must be allergic to courtrooms because she failed yet again to appear in a Van Nuys, Calif. courtroom on Thursday for a hearing surrounding her bad driving charges. Her attorney Richard Hutton attended in her place instead, People reports. Because she wasn’t present, Hutton also had to plead not guilty to the two hit-and-run charges against Bynes on her behalf.
Bynes, who has been spotted galavanting around the streets of New York City recently, was ordered by L.A. Superior Court Judge Rebecca Omens to return to L.A. within 48 hours of her next hearing. The date for that hearing is set for Oct. 19.
In the meantime, since Bynes doesn’t seem to care about fighting the pending criminal charges against her — besides the two hit-and-runs, she has also been charged with DUI — she can keep herself busy by thinking about a new business proposition that has been offered to her. VH1 has offered Bynes a gig on Big Morning Buzz Live. “Yes, VH1’s Big Morning Buzz Live is very interested in landing Amanda for the show,” a VH1 representative tells Hollywood.com.
Now the question is: Would you want to watch Bynes on Morning Buzz, or is this a terrible idea?
