Amanda Bynes has been spending her days on foot or in a cab in New York City, and therefore missed an appearance at a Burbank, Calif. courtroom to battle the multiple charges piled up against her. Bynes failed to show up in court Monday for her to two charges of driving with a suspended license. Her attorney appeared on her behalf to plead not guilty E! reports.
This isn’t the first time Bynes has avoided the courtroom. Her attorney also had to plead not guilty for her on Sept. 27 for the pending hit-and-run charges against her.
You might wonder how Bynes can avoid facing a judge. Since the driving with a suspended license charges that Bynes allegedly racked up on Sept. 16 were misdemeanors, her attorney was able to handle this pre-trial hearing without her.
Bynes has also plead not guilty to a DUI charge that resulted from an arrest back in April. Since then, she has taken to Twitter to deny that she drinks and has claimed that she definitely does not drink and get behind the wheel.
