Women are certainly judged harder in the comedy world, but as time goes on, there seems to be more and more female comedians getting on stage and giving it their all. 1. Mo’Nique’s “I Coulda Been Your Cellmate.”
You hear about comedians going over seas to do shows for the troops, but you hardly hear about comedians doing shows at prisons. Mo’Nique brings smiles to these female prisoners’ faces as she breaks down the horrors of prison and how she would theoretically not be able to do it.
2. Sommore’s “Chandelier Status”
Sommore has been out for a while now, but has sadly not gotten the shine that she deserves. She has however come back with an awesome special and rightfully deeming herself as a chandelier. She breaks down the craziness of today with our reality shows and other trends.

6. Kathleen Madigan’s “Gone Madigan”
Kathleen hilariously tells stories about her Catholic family, things she hates like going to the gym, and visiting Iraq and Afgahanistan.
7. Amy Schumer’s “Mostly Sexy Stuff”
Amy talks about the crazy things that comes with being a woman, and the terrible aspects of dating through the lense of her promiscuous persona.
