Biography

TV executive who spent 13 years with ABC News and Sports, becoming a senior producer for "PrimeTime Live" and playing an important role in the network's coverage of the 1984 and 1988 Olympic Games. Lured to Disney in 1989, Sacks oversaw the development of a number of TV specials for Walt Disney Television, Touchstone Television and Buena Vista TV, including the Emmy Award-winning "The Muppets Celebrate Jim Henson" (1990). She later took charge of creating first-run series and reality-based programming at Buena Vista.
