Amy Schumer has always had a soft spot for her dad, and this year, Christmas came early for the Schumer family. The comedian bought back the farm her father lost over 20 years ago.
The actress previously revealed that when she was 12 years old, her family went bankrupt and lost their farm when her father was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis.
“We lost the farm when we lost everything else,” she wrote in a too sweet Instagram post. “But today I got to buy it back for him.” In the post, Schumer shares a home video of her and her father playing in a cornfield.

Schumer’s family moved to Long Island, New York after losing the farm. After buying back the property, Amy FaceTimed her dad, who currently resides in an assisted living facility, to tell him the news.
