Troubled soul star Amy Winehouse is back at her London home after reportedly quitting rehab.
The 23-year-old singer’s whereabouts have been unknown since she left a London hospital last week after she collapsed following three days of hard partying.
Winehouse and husband Blake Fielder-Civil left the $20,000-a-week Causeway Centre in Essex, England, on Wednesday, the singer’s stepfather-in-law Giles Civil tells British newspaper the Daily Mirror.
Speaking outside her London home on Wednesday, Winehouse told the Mirror, “Oh my God, what the hell happened to last week? I’m fine, don’t worry.”
Fielder-Civil’s mother Georgette told the Mirror on Wednesday the singer had admitted that both she and her husband were using heroin and cocaine.
Stepfather Giles Civil says, “We were praying they wouldn’t bail out early. We don’t want them to go back to their vicious circle. Amy has had five days away from drugs and her self esteem and confidence is slowly coming back, but they can’t be forced to stay.”
