Dutch violinist and composer Andre Rieu has cancelled an upcoming concert after falling ill with bronchitis. The classical music star was due to play at the LG Arena in Birmingham, England on Wednesday night (17Dec14), but the gig has now been rescheduled to 23 December (14) after he was diagnosed with the condition.
His spokesman says, “Due to severe bronchitis, Andre Rieu is unfortunately forced to postpone his concert in Birmingham, which was supposed to take place tonight at the LG Arena… Andre Rieu sincerely regrets any inconvenience this may cause and hopes to see you all on December 23.”
