"I've always wanted to be successful and I'm going in the right direction. But it hasn't changed me at all. I don't want to be a superstar overnight, and I don't want to just be big for five years and then be a major flop. I want to have longevity. I don't want to be burnt out by the time I'm twenty. I just want people to know where I'm, coming from and what I can offer. And I hope to God I can keep my head."--Andrew Strong ("US" magazine, December 1991)

.

"It's easy to play a jerk like Deco. Alan Parker would say, 'All right, Andrew, you know your lines. Just go ahead and act like a jerk.'" --Andrew Strong on his acting debut in "The Commitments" (THE NEW YORK TIMES, September 29, 1991)
