Biography

Andrew Whaley was an actor who made a successful career for himself in film. Whaley began his acting career appearing mainly in films, such as the Richard Chamberlain adventure "King Solomon's Mines" (1985), "Cry Freedom" (1987) with Kevin Kline and "Going Bananas" (1988) with Dom DeLuise. He also appeared in the drama "A Dry White Season" (1989) with Donald Sutherland. He also appeared in the TV movie "Mandela" (PBS, 1987-88). His passion for acting continued to his roles in projects like the dramatic adaptation "The Power of One" (1992) with Stephen Dorff and the Reese Witherspoon adventurous drama "A Far Off Place" (1993). He also landed a role in the miniseries "Sherlock Holmes: Incident at Victoria Falls" (1991-92). Whaley continued to exercise his talent in the nineties and the early 2000s, taking on a mix of projects like "Flame" (1997), "Kini & Adams" (1997) starring Claudia Cardinale and "Yellow Card" (2000). His credits also expanded to "12 Days of Terror" (Animal Planet, 2003-04) and "Charlie Jade" (Syfy, 2007-08). Whaley most recently acted in the horror movie "Primeval" (2007) with Dominic Purcell.
