Biography

Angus Lennie was a big screen film actor known for powerful performances. With debut roles in the Steve McQueen dramatic adaptation "The Great Escape" (1963) and "The V.I.P.s" (1963) with Elizabeth Taylor, Lennie began his career in film. He then tackled roles in the action flick "633 Squadron" (1964) with Cliff Robertson, the comedy adaptation "Oh! What A Lovely War" (1969) with Ralph Richardson and the Helen Hayes comedy "One of Our Dinosaurs Is Missing" (1975). Toward the end of his career, Lennie appeared in "The Zany Adventures of Robin Hood" (1983-84).
