Biography

Ann McDonough has built an incredible presence on the big screen throughout her acting career. McDonough kickstarted her acting career in comedies like the Judge Reinhold film "Off Beat" (1986) and "Moonstruck" (1987) starring Cher. She had a part on the television special "Uncommon Women and Others" (PBS, 1977-78). She kept working in film throughout the nineties, starring in the Goldie Hawn suspenseful mystery "Deceived" (1991), the drama "Lorenzo's Oil" (1992) with Nick Nolte and "For Love Or Money" (1993). McDonough had a number of different projects under her belt in the nineties and the early 2000s, including "Deep Rising" (1998) starring Treat Williams, "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (NBC, 1999-) and "Snow Falling on Cedars" (1999) starring Ethan Hawke. Her credits also expanded to "The 6th Day" (2000) starring Arnold Schwarzenegger and "The Mothman Prophecies" (2002). McDonough most recently acted on "The Good Wife" (CBS, 2009-).
