Biography

Finnish-born actress Anna Falchi has appeared extensively in Italian films, even working with famed director Federico Fellini--albeit on a bank commercial. Born in 1972, in Tampere, Finland, Falchi at the age of six moved to Italy with her family and it was there that she would grow up. Falchi began her career as a model before pursuing acting; she made her screen debut in the aformentioned TV commercial, which featured Fellini regular Paolo Villaggio and, for Falchi, must have been a great résumé builder. An acting career followed, and the gorgeous blonde made her big-screen debut in the film "On the Dark Continent" in 1993. Falchi starred as a princess in the 1994 fantasy miniseries "The Dragon Ring</b and switched to comedy for 2005's "Sorry, You Can't Get Through." Thanks to her good looks and charismatic personality, Falchi became a popular television personality around this time, presenting music videos and hosting various specials on Italian television.
