Anna Trebunskaya began dancing at the age of six in her native Russia - her parents owned a dance studio, so it was only natural that she took to dancing from an early age. At the age of seven, Trebunskaya entered her first competition, which she won, and she has been winning titles (first amateur and now professional) ever since. Trebunskaya moved to the U.S. with her parents in 1998 when she was 17 years old. Both her mother and father were professional Ballroom dancers, and her mother still makes her costumes today. She recently began dancing with Pavlo Barsuk. They are hoping to be finalists in their upcoming National competition, the U.S. Dancesport Championship. Anna previously competed with her husband, and "Dancing with the Stars" (ABC, 2005- ) professional dancer, Jonathan Roberts. Some of her professional accomplishments included winning International Grand Ball Champion, USA Rising Star Latin Champion in 2004, Blackpool Rising Star Latin Finalist in 2003 and USA Amateur Youth Standard (Ballroom) Champion in 1998. For the fifth season of "Dancing with the Stars," she was partnered with hip-swinging male model, Albert Reed.
