Annaleigh Ashford's acting career began when she was a mere five years old. Ashford's career began with roles in "Law & Order" (1990-2010), "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (NBC, 1999-) and "Nurse Jackie" (Showtime, 2008-2015). Ashford started in the industry by acting in films like the Anne Hathaway comedic drama "Rachel Getting Married" (2008). She continued to work steadily in television dramas throughout the early 2000s and the 2010s, appearing on "Smash" (NBC, 2011-13) and "Made In Jersey" (CBS, 2012-13). During these years, she additionally appeared in film, receiving a role in the Sarah Jessica Parker blockbuster dramatic adaptation "Sex and the City" (2008). Ashford had a number of different projects under her belt in the 2010s, including the Kristen Bell and Idina Menzel smash hit "Frozen" (2013), "Masters of Sex" (Showtime, 2013-) and "Behind the Story With the Paley Center" (SundanceTV, 2014-). Ashford most recently acted in "Top Five" (2014).
