Biography

As a well-versed Israeli entertainer, Assaf Dayan had a diverse career in the entertainment business. Dayan's earliest roles were in film, including "A Walk With Love and Death" (1969), "La Promesse de l'aube" (1970) and the comedy "Hetzi-Hetzi" (1971) with Zeev Berlinsky. He also appeared in "The Sell Out" (1976) and "Uranium Conspiracy" (1978). In the eighties, Dayan devoted his time to various credits, such as "Banoth" (1985), "Me'Achorei Hasoragim" (1985), "HaKrav al HaVa'ad" with Shayke Levy (1986) and "The Delta Force" (1986) starring Chuck Norris. Toward the end of his career, he continued to act in "The 92 Minutes of Mr. Baum" (1997), the drama "No Names on the Doors" (1997) with Mosku Alkaly and the Aki Avni action picture "Time of Favor" (2002). He also appeared in "Entebbe: Operation Thunderbolt." Dayan also wrote "Where Eagles Fly." Assaf Dayan passed away in May 2014 at the age of 69.
