Aubrey Plaza almost married Michael Cera

Actress Aubrey Plaza has revealed she almost exchanged vows with actor Michael Cera in Las Vegas a few years ago.
The Parks and Recreation star made an appearance on RuPaul’s podcast What’s the Tee? and revealed the two quietly dated while filming Scott Pilgrim vs. the World in 2010.
“I dated (Michael) for a long time,” she said. “A year and a half.
“We drove across the country after we shot that movie and almost got married in Vegas.”
When RuPaul followed up and asked if their relationship blossomed because they spent so much time together on set, she replied, “Oh, like animals in captivity? Everyone just wants to f**k each other?”
However, the 32-year-old explained that her romance with Cera was a lot deeper than that, explaining they had a “very special” connection – and they’re still close even though they are no longer dating.
“We love each other,” she added. “We’re still really good friends. He’s just a weird little freak and we speak the same language. He’s one of the funniest people I know.”
