Actor Austin Basis was most commonly known for his roles in television dramas. Basis started his acting career in various dramas, including "NCIS" (CBS, 2003-), "Grey's Anatomy" (ABC, 2004-) and "Supernatural" (2005-). During the early stages of his acting career, Basis worked in films like the dramedy "Dorian Blues" (2005) with Michael McMillian. Several more television roles followed in the early 2000s, including stints on "Windfall" (2005-06), "Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip" (NBC, 2006-07) and "Life on Mars" (ABC, 2008-09). In the early 2000s, he acted in the comedy "American Zombie" (2008) with Grace Lee, "Boxboarders!" (2008) and "My Sassy Girl" (2008). He spent the early 2000s and the 2010s tackling film roles in "The Other End of the Line" (2008), "Dead Tone" (2009) with Rutger Hauer and the Alyssa Lobit drama "The Things We Carry" (2010).
