Biography

Actress Barbara Rudnik was widely known for her presence on the silver screen. In her early acting career, Rudnik appeared in such films as "Morgen Grauen" (1984) with Albert Fortell, "Treffer" (1984) and the Christian Schmidt musical "Mullers Buro" (1985). She also appeared in the Karina Fallenstein comedy "Tango im Bauch" (1985), "Douce France" (1986) and "La Presqu'ile" (1986). She kept working in film throughout the eighties and the nineties, starring in "Camillo Castiglioni odor die Moral der Haifische" (1987), "Dann Ist Nichts Mehr Wie Vorher" (1987) and "Der Unsichtbare" (1987). She also appeared in "Thousand Eyes" (1989) and "Rotwang" (1994) with Udo Kier. Her work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "In the Frame" (1989-1990). In her more recent career, she tackled roles in the Götz George thriller "The Sandman" (1996), the Heiner Lauterbach comedy adaptation "Campus" (1998) and "Solo Fuer Klarinette" (1998). She also appeared in the dramedy "Schnee in der neujahrs-nacht" (2000) with Jürgen Tarrach, "Come, Sweet Death" (2001) and "Ghettokids" (2002). Most recently, Rudnik acted in the Til Schweiger foreign "Rabbit Without Ears" (2007).
