Barrett Strong still in royalties dispute over Money

American musician Barrett Strong has still not received a penny for allegedly co-writing classic track Money (That’s What I Want). The 72-year-old Grammy winner was originally listed as a writer in the first recording of the song in 1959 but claims it was subsequently removed three years after the song was penned.
Now lawyers have informed Strong he is unlikely to recoup any royalties from the song, which is thought to have earned millions of dollars. It was famously covered by both The Beatles and The Rolling Stones.
