Barron Hilton treated to new car after driving ban ends

Socialite Barron Hilton was sentenced to three years’ probation and handed a one-year driving suspension last year (09) after pleading no contest to a DUI charge. The offence stemmed from an incident in Malibu, California in February 2008, when Hilton allegedly struck a gas station worker with his car.

The 20 year old’s driving ban was lifted earlier this month (Jan10) and he had to retake his road test in order to regain his license.

He passed – and his dad, Richard Hilton, treated Barron to a black 2010 Mercedes E550 Coupe worth $60,000 (£37,500) to congratulate him, reports
