Chris Brown recently posted his $250,000 bail after the insane, hours-long police standoff outside of his home; however, the woman who accused him of pulling out a gun might not be as innocent as we all thought.
Baylee Curran shared her side of the story with TMZ and E! News after Brown posted and deleted various insane-sounding Instagram rants while locking himself in his home (or as he puts it, “palace”). Allegedly, Curran went into the backyard around 2:40 a.m. and enjoyed some time in Brown’s hot tub. When she came back inside, someone in Brown’s crew was selling diamond watches and necklaces. She was admiring one item, which she allegedly didn’t even pick up or touch, when Brown’s friend freaked out.
“He was calling me names and that’s when Chris Brown kind of went off, pulled out his gun, and said, ‘Get the f–k out,” she said, adding that he was “kind of threatening me with the gun, like if I didn’t get out, he’s going to shoot me with it.”
Allegedly, as Curran tried to leave, she was not allowed to take her cell phone until she signed a non-disclosure agreement (which she refused to sign). She grabbed her phone and ran out, hiding under a truck until a neighbor called authorities.
“I went under a truck because I saw his keep coming from his driveway towards my way,” she tells E!. “Once they reached the area of the truck they turned around and went back up the driveway.”
Chris Brown obviously needs help, there’s no denying that based on his track record, but Curran might not be totally innocent either. The 24-year-old former beauty queen is actually wanted for grand larceny in NYC for allegedly stealing a fancy, designer purse.
According to TMZ, In 2013, Curran was visiting NYC with a few friends when they began arguing in The Plaza. Police documents report that Curran stole a $1,000 Louis Vuitton purse from one of the girls and ran out of the hotel. Curran was then chased by security and dropped the purse but took what was inside, including $200 in cash, credits cards and a Michael Kors wallet. Curran was gone before police arrived but is currently wanted in NYC for questioning. Police put out an I-Card, which means if NYPD find her in NYC, they can pick her up and take her in for questioning.
The incident was so bad that the girl whose purse was stolen got a restraining order against Curran.
According to Curran’s rep, the model has no idea police wanted her for questioning and her friend was the thief.
